Conrods shrinking is funny. Bending maybe if you force loads down its throat and hyrdo it, but you'd have to pour it in.
Where abouts are you? It needs plugging in to be sure its got fuel pressure.
Could be crank sensor, Diesels need so little to run on easystart, its hard to diagnose.

Alternators do often cause drains, even though they charge no problem. Its because the regulator is trying to back feed the alternator and make it run like a motor.
Do the same test with your meter, and disconnect the alternator main feed. You may find once removed, and refitted, the drain...
I used some Velcro discs from ebay. Heavy duty ones.
Helpful when cleaning the car, and swapping between 3/4 front plate to standard front plate if ever pulled for it.
I couldn't remember where I saw the engine brake post!
Yeah I'm aiming to build it with more power in mind, Inc using the 6speed. I'll leave it standard a few months, and then get BMW injectors and pump, bigger/hybrid turbo etc sorted, might as well do it properly.
I hope to get started in a...
TBH, In the state I am today, not only would I not be allowed near your clean car, but I'd also take bloody ages to do anything, Too tired to do anything fast.
Good! I'm loving it.
Chris can you stop quoting posts with every picture in? Its bloody annoying. Just edit the quote so its just one pic, or just ask, I'll soon figure out your questions.
Anyway, updateish time....
Firslty a lol @ the Laguna. Recently hit a pothole and since then I had noticed a slight vibration...
What a fun couple of evenings. I'm not built for this late night shiz though.
Few points, It was only you that looked like a gyppo breaking in, I was just stood there laughing.
And I noticed the shims missing when I was unpacking everything, but had to soilder on. With the old calipers full of...
Re: dmallett's indecisive clio thread! Monaco ph2 pg1+, Titanium ph1 pg31+, PB ph1 pg
Shouldn't take too long.
Hazard switch and lock switch will be hardest, not impossible though.
Aux belt should be changed at the timing belt really, as the aux belt is 36k or 3 years, so even if it had done few miles, you'd be changing the aux belt kit a year later. Otherwise mileage will cause them to be done at the same time. Plus once you've compressed the tensioner and had the aux...

Looking good buddy.
Remind me at Southend about dash swap and we'll sort out a day.
Its because the clocks aren't programmed, mine was the same. And because you're trying to do it wrong.
Program your clocks and it'll work no problem. Nothing on the dash works until its programmed.
Tidier job than on yours? :P
You need the right way of doing the dials, as its Ph3 (so digi) you need to disconnect battery etc. I'll find time to give you a call and explain it, its quite a pain, and took me a few attempts.
I expect the 1.9 to be heavier and beefier than the 1.5, I'm not expecting them to weigh the same. Plus the 6speed box certainly weighs more. I'm fully expecting a nose heavy understeering Clio to start with.
I think the reason they never did it would be due to how similar it would be to the...
I'll try and remember to get some pics of mine when it stops raining.
Connecting them without plugs won't be an issue as long as you solder it. Plugs often fall apart anyway.
My EGR is blanked using the blank from eBay. Can't remember where it came from, wasn't UK.
Its a pain to get the clip back on again, and you'll need to do something about the solenoid. Unplugging it brings EML on, you can fit a resistor but I never bothered. I have my EGT sensor in there...
Can't fit rear spacers on a dci100 easily. Plus You'd need 35/40mm spacers to get it the same stance as mine on the front.
I'm having the best of every world.
I remember mine isn't lined up (as in the arrow on the plastic nut doesn't line up with marks on sender/tank), but its tight.
Black Clio seemed to be easier than mine was, but I bet its a bugger to fit properly when I eventually get round to it.
