Rarely, DMF clutches are unspung, whereas SMF are sprung. Which is true in this case, plus the SMF clutch is a lot different.

Its not a standard clutch, as scenic/trafic/laguna are dual mass, whereas this clutch is from a single mass conversion kit. My old 1.9 Trafic was DMF?!

Providing it was torqued up correctly in the first place, it'll be the bearing. Don't f**k about with it. Get a genuine bearing too.
