Rust equipment has been ordered in the form of bilt hamber - Deox 5ltrs, electrox 800ml and epoxy mastic 1kg. Im hoping this will get the underside protected. Anything that's needs cutting out and replacing will be done by a fabricator but im gonna do the messy work of finding the holes first...
Oh and a set of 1200cc injectors.
So far....the car and engine stand me in at £3170. Im hoping to be painted, 2.3 stroker engine fully built and running a GT35 turbo for under £7k
I am hoping that I can get some shiny trick bits in the mix as well.... 18 inch rota's, 9 bumpers and brake...
So this was the initial set of rods etc I bought for a 2.0 forged build....I have just taken deposit on these due to purchasing the above stroker kit
parts of the new stoker kit - Block, crank and head are in the car... just need to find someone to assemble it.
This is looking to be true...and I knew this before I bought it, but maybe not too bad. Im gonna get the rear bumper off and have a good look. I've budgeted £1000 to have the rear quarters repaired, the underside stripped any welding, underseal and paint. I hope its not unrealistic... My annual...
i was supposed to get some pics today but trying to get the cup upto scratch to sell and fund the turbo kit... rear arches are pretty hanging and it does need some work on the underside. Once i have the engine bits which should be this week i shall look at getting the underside checked over and...
I am hoping this is a nice cheap car! my wish list keeps growing though. its from a friend, he just fell in love with motorX so I took it off him for fair money!
So After parting ways with my partner/wife of 11 years - I have some spare time on my hands!! only right I got an evo... Theres a list of cars I've always wanted to own e46 M3 which I ticked off last year and an evo. Not a great fan of 7's but nothing a pair of 9 bumpers wont sort out.
Its...
put a couple of hundred more miles on it since wed. 160 miles on half a tank, 120 have been motorway and the other have been a A road blasts and some town driving. Really puts a smile on my face, and I do like the look but really not getting on with it being a convertible when im actually in it...
It would appear to be well maintained, the only downside is the paint. It's spent 4 years living on a main road hence the key scratches.
I'm spending a certain amount of money on it to get it how I want then I'd still have to spend about £1500-2000 to be out of pocket I reckon
i hate the lumpiness, just leave it to idle a bit before warming up and its ok.
i did notice the lights go out pretty quick, makes sense being water temp.
my oil temp sensor is defective at the moment, its on the list of things to change along with the service. Ive also changed the gearstick...
all my detailing gear is a few miles away and i didn't have much time, was that or some lynx africa!!!
full service this week including diff fluid, took it on an A road blast yesterday and it really does get a shift on, I've secured a modified back box this week so that should be on by the end...
So have put a few miles on this now, approx 85 to the £25 worth of fuel I put in it yesterday!
Been perfect weather today for some roof down action and a really really quick fairy liquid clean.
Love how pictures make it look quite tidy, in reality it’s got a key scratch on most panels, yet to...
First drive this morning in the M all 16 miles of it.
The Gearstick made it not as I would have liked, the bushing is worn meaning I have some vertical play so moving through gears at pace wasnt really an option - these will be ordered tomorrow.
From cold it was a bit lumpy, coupled with the...
So ive spent a bit of time on ///M
N/S bearing and upper and lower arm bushes plus Trailing arm bush changed for Powerflex Black series – I have proof of them all being done in 2013 but as it was apart they got refreshed - What a great job that was on the drive.
Next up was some cleaning of...
Just ordered some power flex black series rear trailing arm bushes as just been underneath to check subframe and they look a tiny bit perished. Slippery slope as although they've been done I can help but want to poly bush the lot!
Can't see too much of the subframe mounts so gonna get it on a...
Working nights for the next 2 so hoping to spend some time on it on my days off.

I have a friend...
So, since as far as i can remember i have always lusted after one of these, my realistic dream car. I had for the last 3 years said, next year i'll get one, but this never materialised.....until 2 days ago.
Now its not the best example but with a recent house move and new family car purchase...
im still having the issue where you cant see all the photos when uploading to facebook, and facebook still sometimes throws me out and sends me back to a 2 day old newsfeed! and this is after updating this morning to 8.0.2
My newsfeed on Facebook is full of it. Funnily enough from people who don't them!!
My 6+ just came from Vodafone after being promised 19th delivery!
It's great, but I have 1 problem which I've not researched. I'm in standard view mode but when trying to upload a pic in Facebook it does this...
