how about G-techniq P1? different to alot of polishes because the abrasives dont break down, and you polish with the grade pad you require until you get the required results (in a round about way!) and as Aucky says Glaze to finish it off.

looks really really wet/glossy. still to try amigo as i have a whole bottle of blackhole. Glasur really finishes it off

If you are a little worried about it then best bet is a cheap 2nd hand panel front a breakers £10-15 (oxidised red is a good start). This way you can practice without fear of damaging paint work and Perfect a technique
