I've recently gone with B&W 603 s1 and am very very happy with the sound and the looks. I may well sell some B&W 601 s1's fairly well priced. I bought them as rears for my setup but they are far too big to sit behind my sofa.
I was looking forward to seeing you progress with the T but I assume it would follow the same route as the previous one.
I do like a cooper s. though my missus had a standard grey one with white roof and wheels, and was great, but not so great on fuel. It's was a fairly stiff ride compared to...
I find them too bassy to the point where my neighbours probably hate me!! I need to get the bungs out of the loft to try and tone it down. I have my sub connected but it's not working at the moment and am honestly glad!!
The sticker does need to come off!!
Such a poor picture! gotta love photobucket! I do have the bungs so will try em thanks, and they are on the spikes provided. After some use today watching expendables 2 the amp was getting really hot, i let it 'hang' out of the cabinet a bit while watching. Im gonna modify what ive already got...
Thought I'd update with a recent picture. I'm not happy with location of centre or where the amp is due to ventilation but I don't have it on for really long lengths of time.
Am looking at a custom made TV cabinet from chunky monkey furniture. But for now very happy with the setup.
The b&w's...
I've got b&w 603 s1 as my fronts, 601 s1 for my rears and b&w htm61 as my centre, with an old Yamaha sub.
It's not even setup properly but it's great. Gonna watch dark knight rises on it tonight hopefully
Got my 2113 and am very happy with it. Setup my 2 fronts, centre and sub only at the moment as I still need some speaker stands for the rears, and I've had to remove the feet as my TV cabinet isn't tall enough. This will hopefully only be temporary tho.
It's easy to use, looks great and sounds...
Just picked up a B&W HTM62 centre speaker. So currently have all the speakers but only my old denon 1906, and not managed to get throught to richer sounds to check my price on the 2113
And ye £200 for the 4 listed above. I'm looking at a cc6 to complement but if funds allow I will get a lcr60 or 600. Which will lead on to an upgrade to the s3's in the future. But again it may not be necessary to go mad and I am hoping I find the s1's are more the sufficient.
Mine with look...
As above the denon looks incredible value for Money and is future proof with the 4k option.
I originally had an offer on some 601 s2's but it fell through, plus they needed a repair.
Well due to budget and the fact I want it all by the 18th jan when my amp comes I've now got:
Rears - B&W 601 s1
Front - B&W 603 s1
Sub - old Yamaha
Centre - to purchase
Both sets of B&W's for £200 which I'm over the moon about, I've read reviews etc and understand they are old and the...
Cheers for the responses guys, I've got my joiner m8 coming round to look at modifying my unit if needed.
Whilst on this subject I've been on the hunt since I placed my order for the denon for a set of speakers.
I've gone 2nd hand and got some B&W 601 s1 and 601 s2's and am just looking for...
Can anyone tell me, when manufacturers give the measurements for amp, do they include the feet in the size they state? the denon 2113 is 167mm but ive only got 170mm in my cabinet!!! so hoping that includes the feet
