I did some testing this evening actually. My i5 was only hitting about ~50% utilisation (per core too) at 1080p 150fps, and 35ish at 4k40fps. So I think realistically it’s going to be okay at 4k120 but I may drop in a 4790k just for some extra cores.
Call me mad...
I'm not really sure about upgrading my CPU tbh. I've got an i5 4690k @4.6ghz and whilst obviously most recent processors have way more cores, most of the stuff I do only really leverages one or two cores, and even something like a 3800XT is only 14% faster in single threaded or...
I think to be honest with modern memory speeds etc having to transfer textures to/from the card when necessary isn’t as big of an issue as it used to be, especially with the 3000 cards pulling data directly from the SSD. I’m sure a lot of games will happily use more VRAM if they can get it, but...
Oh this is all speculation. Until someone actually gets a card in their hands and benchmarks it we won't know. But even if it's 90% as good as a 2080ti which is not unbelievable, it'll be a bloody bargain compared to dropping £1.2k on a 2080ti.
EDIT:
Interesting seeing them taking over more of the CPU's workload too, with the rate GPU performance is increasing and the rate CPU performance... isn't, it's probably not surprising, but it should mean the CPU is less important in terms of gaming performance in future. Maybe one day we'll be...
You need a little dongle thingy for 360 wireless controllers to work on PC, they won't just work off the built in bluetooth.

I have that, works perfect with a pair of controllers.
Is there some kind of autoblip/rev hold thing on the 140? Seemed like a couple of upshifts there the car was trying to hold the revs up.
Nice effort though, the M140i definitely goes very well for all its road manners.
If you're futureproofing then wait for the Nvidia 3000 series cards. Not only are they going to be a big jump in performance, they're also the first cards to support HDMI 2.1 which is what you will have to have if you want to run 4k at anything higher than 60 frames per second. But depending on...
One of the local guys tuned one of the RS3s there.
Not so long ago the fastest supercars in the world would be hard pressed to hit 200 so easily, now we've got hatchbacks that do it on f**king stock internals.
Friend just took his sprinting this weekend, he hasn't got a diff but still posted some good times and had a lot of fun :) Relishing racing with the aircon on, lol
