It’s actually quite nice to go from corner to corner without having to change gears constantly. And if you’ve got the torque to catapult you to the next corner, why not?
FIXED IT!
1. Has to be the one under PC resolutions. Both 2k120 and 1k120 work fine.
2. Can't fix that. Don't know why. But if you set the resolution for windows as a whole first then do it in Assetto it obviously then works.
3. HDR works in all resolutions now, can’t remember what I tweaked...
Yeah, I've got like 600 odd cars in my install now. RaceSimStudio do fantastic cars, United Racing Design's WEC cars are good, tonnes of good cars on Racedepartment (particularly, recently released, the Impreza GD by Aphidgod which was created very meticulously from his real impreza, dyno'ing...
Think I may have found the issue with 1 and 2. I thought you could run 120hz without G-sync over HDMI on a 10 series card (which can’t support it, only 16x and 20x cards have it), but it appears that you need G-sync to run anything greater than 60hz at all. Piss. Guess I’ll have to wait for a...
It’ll do 4k120hz once Nvidia release a HDMI 2.1 card, it definitely is supposed to do 2k120hz over a hdmi connection, and at 6.8ms input lag, in HDR!
It definitely should be working but for some reason it isn’t. As I say, the only thing I can think is the cable isn’t a high speed one but then...
So, I’ve just got an LG B9 and I’m having all sorts of issues.
1. Can’t set 2k120hz or even 1080/120. Max refresh rate in Nvidia control panel is 60hz. I would assume it’s not a HDMI2.0 cable, but it can do 4K HDR.
2. I’m guessing the above is the reason, but when setting Assetto Corsa to...
Anyone looking forward to seeing what the 3000 series cards look like? Moving to 7nm means big cost savings and potentially some very powerful cards, so hopefully the new cards will be a big step up.
Doesn’t seem that ridiculous tbh. 4 and a bit seconds to do the first 60mph, nearly 6 seconds to do the last 40. Not like the 140 is lacking torque either.
I’m looking forward to it tbh. Vaughn is a f**king legend and having the whole site to skid around should be fun.
Burnout competitions probably make more sense when you can smell it tbh
The problem with uprating the brakes equally is as you achieve more G under deceleration, the weight transfer becomes more pronounced and the rear axle can take less braking effort.
Obviously suspension changes to reduce the weight transfer mitigate that, but if all else is the same...
If it’s an otherwise stock engine, then I personally wouldn’t expect it to be breaking 200bhp. I would have said you need exhaust, cams AND itbs/an RS2 inlet to crack 200.
