Never really played Underground. But Underground 2 is definitely one of the greatest games of all time. I still regularly listen to the soundtrack while driving.
I really like it. I was hoping from the start that it'd have the BOM logo on top and given that physically it's very stock looking, to have the 'fancy' stuff be fairly well hidden is actually a very nice touch which stops it just being a boring white.
Not to mention that the white is a bit of a...
f**king loved the go-kart wheel on mine.
But yeah, grippy rubber and good pads is a good start. I’ll assume you have those already, though.
An induction kit will get you little to no power, but I went with TheFatty’s setup and it sounded very, very nice.
Impressive performance uplift with the latest version of Sol, not quite available yet but more frames is great news.
Unfortunately I’m not sure whether it’s Custom Shaders Patch or Sol but it doesn’t seem to be applying any filters on internal/car mounted views so it’s either massively washed...
You have to be impressed at just how capable cars are these days. Only 4 seconds slower around the 'Ring than the current C63 AMG S, quicker than an F430, Gallardo, Corvette, Vantage.... In a shopping car. The estimated laptime for an F40, one of the best supercars of all time, is only two...
I don’t think you can really get away with posting that sort of thing these days with the police charging people based on video footage etc.
That said I’m pretty sure he’s well over 100 in some of the country road footage.
I’ve just started watching that Jayemm. He does have a slightly annoying voice, but he does seem pretty bang on the money when it comes to reviewing cars. Binged like 15 videos already.
Be honest, you only bought this as an excuse to go chat to Wurzel ;)
Nah 107/Aygo/C1s are brilliant little cars. And if you ever get bored of driving it daily, just go racing in it!
Also, @MarkCup will approve!
The battery is great. As you say I rarely need to charge it while I'm in work even if I spend all day hotspotting off the thing which to be honest is bloody good going for an iPhone.
I f**king hate touchscreens in cars. You aim for a button, you hit the slightest of bumps and end up pressing something else. With physical buttons you can touch them without pressing them and also feel your way around without looking - Touchscreens were just an innovation for the sake of it.
Anyone who knows the 2.5L 5 bangers I drive knows that they love a good driveshaft.
I’ve seen more failed J&Rs than I’ve seen hot dinners. I think the fastest failure was 26 miles from fitment.
I’ve got the advanced version. It’s pretty awesome IMO. Quick lift pedal is great and the quiet wheels are a godsend. It’s heavy, but that’s no biggy for me.
