Kept looseing the clutch pedal pressure whilst on track, first we thought it was the turbo boiling the fluid so we ran the clutch line through the car from the pedal cylinder to the slave on the gear box, which did help but didn't 100% stop the issue as I was still getting clutch fade but not...
Imo unless you NEED the 02m box stick with the jc5, the 02m feels horrible in comparison and it's not just a bolt on away you go either, I've had a few issues with mine but hopefully now should be sorted - trackday in a couple of weeks so time will tel
I've seen people have used car pro Dlux on headlights as that's a plastic/wheel sealant, I still have some carbon collective wheel sealant left was wondering if I could use that on my new headlights? It's marketed at been an alloy wheel and metal sealant not plastic like DLux, I don't want to...
Possibly, it's the bottom stud/nut so carnt see properly as the water feed to turbo pipe is in the way, it'l have to go back to Andy as I have limited tools
Mine has only ever been on when sat in heavy traffic, been on track with it twice and it's never came on once I do have a oil cooler and do 2 cool down laps after each session, I think that must make a big difference
Yes I've lost a down pipe bolt aswell :( there is no gasket between my turbo and manifold, did you manage to nip yours up your self then or did Andy do it?
Since you've had a custom exhaust have you had any issues with them coming loose or anything?
My turbo to manifold is blowing, I've managed to tighten the top 2 nuts as tight as I can but 1 of the bottom nuts is that loose it's spinning by hand, what's the easiest way to get at it to tighten it up? Carnt get a spanner or anything near atm
Thanks
Just up graded to megane 4 pots on my 182, fitted then bled them and the pedal had a lot of travel before any braking effort, I re-bled them incase I had an air lock but it's still the same.
I'm wondering if it's the standard master cylinder and it carnt cope with the extra size of the 4 pots...
Yes everything will work, carnt comment on cruise control tho as I have a sabelt wheel now, which master cylinder did you go for? I've just had megane 4 pots fitted and have to keep jabbing the pedal for the brakes to work properly
Mine is thirsty either setting, 1st time around croft I done 4x 15 mins sessions on low boost = 3/4 a tank
Yesterday I must of done 6-7 sessions on high boost and user just over 3/4 of a tank,
Weather was similar Both days aswell and there had been no other tweaks either
I wouldn't have a hope in hell of winning tho I'd be in a class with 400-500bhp scoobys and evos! Plus I've never driven knock hill, still be good to enter a round - most likely be next year now
