Got abit of a problem whilst attempting to remove the front abs sensor.
Whilst removing the body of the sensor the top half snapped and left the bottom bit in the hub, problem is it's snapped flush. Any suggestions on removing it? Rather not remove the hub completely as it's the gearbox side.
You'll probably find the Ph-1 a little more economical, reading on here and speaking to people with 182s they tend to be a little thirstier. Biggest thing is what you've mentioned, tyre prices. Also depending on which year Ph-1 you get, some of them fall in to the old tax bracket, so tax is a...
From experience, apart from the cable throttle I preferred the Ph-2 to the Ph-1. Not quite the same situation as you as I previously owned a 172 Cup but given the choice I'd definitely pick a ph-2 over the ph-1.
My Koni adjustable shocks I had didn't extend fully when they were off the car. I was concerned about it and asked around and was told it was normal. They damped perfectly fine once they were on the car as well.
That would be mine yes, just like to add mine wasn't the only Cup playing up that day ;)
The cup got spoilt in regards to cleaning until it got keyed, the ph-1 doesn't deserve cleaning because it looks like a retarded t**t :P

This one?
Following on from my ABS issue thread, I've found out my nearside front ABS sensor is at fault. The wire going in to the sensor it's self is frayed and very loose, so it needs replacing. I've searched around the forum and all I've really come across is how difficult they are to remove. I've not...
I can probably guess exactly which exhaust has been fitted lol. I had one on the ph-1 when I bought it and it did exactly the same thing. Mate also bought a ph-2 with the same exhaust and yes, his cracked in the exact same place too.
Just taken the car out and all is well. ABS seems to be working as it should and no more kick backs from it at low speeds. Must have just been a bit of crap on the rings and with cleaning them up has solved the issue.
Right, I've checked the ABS Rings on both sides and they're both fine, cleaned them up and inspected for cracks and nothing. Something I did notice was the wire going to the ABS sensor was quite frayed and comparing it to the other side it does seem as if it could be causing the issue...
Sorry this is unrelated to your question but I've been trying to reply to your P.M you for the past couple of days about the Cup brackets you asked about but can't because your inbox is full. lol
Re: Diagnosis before I burn the f*cker?
That's a strange noise, :S When the starter packed up on the Cup it clicked but not like that.
Have you tried bump starting it?
IMO Wilky's would have a considerable advantage.
Mate of mine had his EP3 CTR RR'd at TDI North and made 211bhp. It's pretty much identical performance wise with mine up until 130 then his starts pulling away.
The above obviously took place on a private road :P
I've just started playing the H2H season too, Just got promoted in to division 6. Keep coming up against people that feel the need to pause the game at every given opportunity and watch every single bloody replay though. lol
Ayee, most people think they're red, they look different depending which light they're in lol
Oh btw, has your got uprated cams in it? Remember when it came up for sale on here again and I'm sure the owner at the time mentioned cams.
