Agree about the Cup Spoilers, sold mine a few months ago for 120 and thought I got a decent price, then I got told I'd let it go cheap? lol
Saw a boot lid and a cup spoiler from a 182 for sale on Ebay for £140 last week.
Got to practice them sick hand brake turns somewhere innit :P
Well because of the time of year it was pretty cheap £117 including a garage but can get quite a bit more expensive during the summer months, aslong as it's an open pit lane then yeah you can go out and do as many laps as you want...
Decided last minute to do a track day at Oulton last Friday (4th November), after f0xy's problems with his project build and unable to participate I bought his track time off him. 1st time I've been out on track so I wasn't going all out and didn't push to hard but enjoyed it none the less.
Seem to have a nasty habit of getting noisy after cambelt changes too. As Maynard says, for the sake of the extra £130 may as well get it changed while the belts are off.
As Jamie says, they'd look awful as well as blinding every other road user coming head on to you. I just used those high brilliance bulbs from Halfrauds in my Cup.
Great splitter and for the price you can't go wrong, not a massive amount of difference from Renault's cup splitter baring the price tag either. Had one fitted to my Cup, I would fit one to my ph-1 but I have scraping issues already without one. lol
Errrm, it would vary with mine, could put the power down and very little would happen, lift off, then put the power down again and it would be fine. Wouldn't happen everytime but was becoming more common as the dephaser got worse. Not saying for certain yours is a dephaser issue but once mine...
Having owned both I feel as I can give an unbiased opinion :P
Only real advantage the ph-1 has over the ph-2 is the cable throttle. Driveability they're pretty much identical although the ph-2 is the more aesthetically pleasing IMO.
