May be if you were driving a 1904 Crestmobile then a wave would be nice, id never dreammmm of waving at another Clio, My mam drives a clio 182 and if some one flashed at her she would slow down thinking the police were there with a Camera :)
Too many Clios on the roads to wave at. :)

i must go into business then :) goodness me, I met Brian thro Clio sport not to mention other lads on the forum and theve never paid any wear close to £450 for them to be done. :) In all fairness Garages have over heads etc to pay so yes there always going to be more...
NEVER EVER take the first offer, look at your cars current value, find the same specked car find a few and show them to replace the car will cost you xxx.

Well a belt kit by Gates cost a £101 FACT and Aux Kit £60 FACT and labour from a garage i assume will be FOC, but even if not i have done some for friends for £60/£80... And i know what im doing! so those who want to pay £600/£700 well even a dealship wont charge that...

so many negative people on this fourm! the lads put a link on and you all just moan on about it, How do you all know its not been sorted out??? WOW a timing belt the massive cost of a full kit £160, a oil leak wow a new sump gasket £6 or what ever else cant be much, and...

Well its done! It does need flatt and polished another job in its self! But ill get there! Once i get new wheels and VMaxx sorted it will look miles better :)Load

Drove this car today, What a peach!
The car is in pretty good shape! no oil leaks what so ever, the belt has been done and the seats are in mint condition :)
I just wish it was me who had purchased it i simply drve it back for a friend !!

Well ive had the dent man remove all dents, started to rub it down, painted door checks, rub strips, handles, boot area, inner doors, roof moulds :)
Here is the colour ive chose.... Ill let you all guess the colour :)
Make sure the cars COLD! get a mate to hold the bolts from the engine side, as you get under a little squirt of wd40/plusgass on bolts, use a 3/8 6" extension and a 10mm hex socket, youl be fine id say 1 hour start to finish. may be a little longer if its your first time, REPLACE ALL gaskets
