Small update.
Pug 106 has had a bit of a rest, it's not been started since Nov 9th, brrrrumm, it runs, so that's ready for this year as the back up car.

Depends on the state of the rest of your suspension and set up. Combe is fairly bumpy as well.
It is easy enough to disconnect it though, if it is wet.
We had a lever type bias valve, and couldn't shut them down enough. The rear compensating valve is now fully shut, and kept this way with a threaded bolt.
The old track car had the rear brakes actually disconnected, and that worked well.
If you look at the state of my sump guard, I would say it's a good idea, stuff the weight.
The gear linkage is so vulnerable down there, plus I got stuck in a gravel trap, as once in there, I couldn't get any gears to get out.
I'm def not getting a pms shifter, never liked the look of them from...
