Lol, a lot slower.
Class A anything goes, itbs, suspension free, light weight panels, any ecu etc etc.
Just no turbos or supercharging.
Production Class. Ren suspension, springs free, standard ecu, keep dash, camber bolts are allowed.
Basically a production car with a saftey cut off switch and...
Well done Bob, bet you are really glad you joined us now.
Good neat driving, and you did the right thing in race 1, just wait for a few laps to get settled in before starting to pass CC cars.
Chuffed to bits for you
I would change the rear o/s disc as well, 99% chance the bearing is...
I would check wishbone bushes, anti roll bar bushes. get somebody to get in the car and drive backwards and forwards, a couple of feet, whilst you lay on the ground next to the car.
You should be able to pin point then, did this to a friends C2 the other week, and it was wishbone.
Update.
I now have the new hub kit ( thanks Mark northlop) for the quick turnaround on this. Also met James (mini182) to collect Dinger Daves gearbox.
The plan came together nicely, so all sorted on that front.
Took the new shell down to JJ MOTORSPORT near High Wycombe yesterday, A to hand...
Yes, its the bit bit that come out of the box, you have the long bent tube that goes to the gearlever, well gearbox end, there is a solid bit that goes into this tube (about 6" long), just cut this a little at a time, say 1/2 inch or so, until the desired position has been reached.
I'm sure...
If you are happy with the gear change as it is, but just find it difficult to reach 3rd and 5th.
Just cut the short piece of steel at the bottom of the box, I had the same problem, but now the gearstick is further back.
Costs nothing.
Not really sure about the shell yet Sonny, but I could do with it being not too bad, to see me the year out.
As long as I can get it to drive straight (ish), then that'll do for now.
As said, we will have a go at it after Oulton, if I do the winter race in November, then the Pug baby burp will...
But you is a couch Potato.
Won't be just yet Olive, October time after Oulton.
I think so James, but every time I jack it up, it's leaving a pile of rust on the floor lol, so I think it's time it was changed.
Send me your number for tomorrow.
