I had gear oil all over my backbox when my selector seal went.
As ive said before the only proper fix is a new seal which does need the box removing and re building.
These other seal things on the market do not work and i have tried and tested most options that mapco one is the same as the TND...
Both new and old ST's are s**t imo. I will say my clio is massivley better all rounder than both.

Selector seal. Very very common problem.
Wipe clean , top up and monitor it.
Only "real" fix is box out and open it up to change the seal and whilst at .it refurb it.
Remove both front and rear passenger side subframe bolts, loosen drivers side ones only a tiny bit.
Remove the fuses from the bay fuse box so the loom can be split and moved to the back of the engine bay above the manifold , then bring the box out the top.

No point powerflexing anything on a road car other than the dogbone mount.
I have powerflex bushes on the inner and outer of the arb and the only difference is about 2 hours.
Yep fitting them is bloody hard as there is no give whatsoever and no benefit to the car either tbf
Yeh get it torqued correctly and will be fine.

Take the pads out and check the whole caliper moves freely towards you and back. Then make sure the caliper piston is not seized by compressing it but remember that the piston needs winding back whist...

Did you use genuine discs or G172's equivilant? Did you re fit the spacer behind the disc and did you strictly torque the hub nut to 175nm;) ???
If no to any of tbe above you will run into more problems pretty soon:(
