Tiny amount of grease on the splines , pivot point cap and sheeve thing that the rease bearing slides up n down on (thing with two bolts in picture just do the shaft) Don't go crazy witb the grease. Much wrong with the box that was rebuilt?

Box needs splitting to fit genuine seal. Unless its for rebuild i wouldn't bother.. If i was you i would sort the driveshaft leak, clean all the underside of the box up and around the selector seal. Top the gear oil up and monitor it.

I fitted one and it still leaked. Thought it was user error so ordered another and some extra seals. Took it out refitted with new seals still leaked. Gear box packed up so had it rebuilt and genuine seal put back in and its sound now.(touch wood) Sold all the spares on. Ime a waste of time...
