Massive thanks to @Degsy1967 for being an honest and upfront bloke. Just got home from a 7hour round trip after purchasing and picking up D11CUP. What an absolute cracker of a car. Never seen a used car look so clean and well looked after. The car is a credit to all of it's previous owners...

No, the dealer told me he took it part ex 4 years ago and has had it for sale for 2. Judging by the condition of the interior and the thick layer of dust it’s been sat in that garage for a long time!

looking at selling the GTi on and replacing with a 182. Had a few Valvers in the past, so know I liove Clios. Anyone gone from the GTi to a 182? Any advice?

I know exactly what you mean, the prices of Valver sand Williams has gone through the roof at the minute. I would love another 16v but realistically, it would have to be a weekend toy, and that’s what bikes are for lol I guess it’ll have to be the old ‘try them both, see which one fits’ malarkey!
