dunno, i locked it with the button on the key (original renault alarm!) then i tried unlockin it to get my phone out the car and nothin happened, its like the keys arent communicatin with the car!!!
i cant start it cause the alarm and immobiliser are activated, dunno what to do!

the chip board is dry and shows no sign of leakage, i dont have the keys for the key switches under the bonnet or the dash!

Oh sh*t, ive just locked my valver with the remote central locking using the key like ive always done and now i cant get back in the damn thing, nither that key nor my spare will let me in, ive put new batteries in both keys and stil cant get in, if i go in the car just manually the alarm goes...
so should the oil be at its highest pressure when the car is driving at 3k rpm before it warms up, then after it warms up it hits top pressure at about 5k, surely it shouldnt be at max pressure for 2k rpm in each gear (from 5k to 7k)!!!!!

when the engine is warmed up(the middle guage is half way up) when i boot it, the oil pressure needle flies up to full by the time im at 5k rpm is this normal???
its just had an oil change and didnt notice this before hand!
any ideas???

ive got a hillpower IK on mine, sound nice when u give it some, but so does a K&N, i had one on my old black valver.

have u got the right sensors in the engine with the corresponding wires in your loom?????
maybe renault didnt put the wiring and sensors in the RSi as they didnt have the guages to start with!

according to renault, i cant get a key for it, i need a whole new barrell for both the bonnet one and the dash one, priced at £167, then he asked if i want to order one!!!
er....... actually, i think ill just buy a new alarm, monkey!
the offer of a beer+the copy charge still stands for...
ive already bought the oil and the filter, ive packed everything awat now!!!
its booked in for a full service, belt tightening, and new brake pads on the rear on wednesday!!!

nope, not got one in the glovebox, i got one under the bonnet, if u mean the one next to the windsceen water resevoir, but no key!!!

on the standard setup, would a 96 valver have an alarm to go with the immobiliser???

my valver seems to run ok when it warms up, but up til then it runs like a bag of spanners!
as much as i would love to get it serviced at a garage and keep the history up, i am really not in any kind of financial position to doso...

with all the new technology it wouldnt be a willy, its a drivers car and IMHO i dont think a drivers car should have any driver aids, i know your gonna hit me with the obvious power steering here lol, but i think if u have a willy, with no PS and no other driver aids, i think it would be an...
