Lol at that advert.
Some people just put too much effort into selling their cars!
I wonder if his other half has told him he has to put it up for sale and this is the result:tearsofjoy:
Has anyone still got the old skool ClioSport.net one???
I cut the ring off mine and used it as a plaque in my first Valver where the Williams build number sits!

Yeah, I’m still undecided if I’m keeping them to be honest. They make cleaning the windows properly a pain in the arse.
Looking forward to Saturday. Got a full day of detailing planned and if I have chance, a service.
The boss is out all day with the girls on Saturday, so gives me a good...
I’ve just changed me me from the old skool RenaultSport one to a new version to match the badge on the boot lid.
Although, it’s a much longer fob so may switch back.

It is madness, the cars are massive nowadays!
And I agree about adding smaller cars to the range. The Up! instead of the polo, the Adam instead of the corsa! Daft!

I was surprised how little the 172 Cup goes for to be honest.
I was in the same boat choice wise, but for different reasons. I’m not bothered by resale value at the minute, more about fun factor and budget constraints. I decided that as a daily and coming from a fully loaded golf GTi, I would...
Another update...
Finally got round to fitting my CS.net seat cover. I work in a warehouse so I tend to get quite mucky over a shift so a seat cover was a no brainer.
It fits quite well, haven’t driven the car with it in yet, but if it keeps the seats in tip top condition, can only be a good...
Yeah it did. Came with a full set of Turbines too, but obviously, the Willy wheels were the ones i kept on it.
I'l never forget driving that car for the first time, coming from a 1.4 8v Corsa Sri it was a bloody missile!
Another mini update:
Not really to the car though.
The new cage for the Alpine stereo has arrived.
Hopefully get this fitted at weekend, but I’m waiting on a climate control unit to be delivered so might as well do all they at the same time.
And out with the old:
And in with the new...
Definitely. I considered some 182 wheels for winter wheels when I bought the car, but think I’ll get some ph1 valver turbines.

I think I’m the only person on here that thinks the original wheels on both the ph2 172 and 182 are ugly!!!
Each to their own I guess. In my opinion, the Ph2 valver wheels were also nasty too!
Sorry!

Cheers man.
I wasn’t sure about the flag on the grill at first, but I kind of like it now [emoji4]
Not too fussed about the plates if I’m honest, may replace them if they start looking tatty, but for now, I have other things that require my pennies [emoji23]

MINI UPDATE...
Since buying the car, something about the steering wheel bothered me slightly. I couldn’t figure it out until I was looking at someone else’s photos the other day. No RenaultSport sticker!
So, I order a black one from here...
I’d given up on cars for a long time since selling my last Valver, I ventured into bikes and had a great time, but eventually I got bored and wanted a car again. I had an EP3 Type R, didn’t really gel with it, so bought a Mk5 Golf GTi and that was a bit too sensible.
What I really wanted was...
Got in from work and was looking for something completely unrelated, but found the old keyring from the Twingo 133. Forgot I’d kept that!

Chaps/Chapettes...
I have an alpine CDE-195BT headhunt fitted to the car, and whilst i don't particularly like the look of it, it does everything I need it to do, therefore If i can get the damn thing to stay in the bloody dash rather than jumping out under acceleration, it's staying put.
I...
