After the postie brought me the mount thought I best get it on before I go away to Centre Parcs.
It's surprising how such a small thing as a mount can make a huge difference. Now the upper mount and dogbone are done I'll be saving to get new lower arms with Powerflex bushes, new ball joints...
Once again the postman has brought me more car parts, this morning a powerflexed dog bone mount from @Paprika123, cheers bud.
Hopefully get this fitted later today or tomorrow weather dependant haha
Mini update...
After the balls up with the OMP boss from Demon Tweeks I eventually sorted a MOMO boss from Merlin Motorsport in Essex. Thanks for the link @182_steve
So with boss now in hand it was time to fit with the OMP Targa wheel. Was quite easy to fit to be honest hardest thing was...
A little update, nothing major... I've had a abs issue for a month or so, this morning I decided to take a look an see what's up.

It's 70mm bass port tube from the local Wilcos glued in an all painted over in gloss black.
It is 2 pieces with a 100mm X 70mm joiner between them, best way to do it without chrome pipe or K-tax costs.
Lastly and the most recent upgrade was to the engine, a PowerFlex upper mount was fitted in 10mins on the drive last week. I like the way its made the engine feel under acceleration but idle :pensive:
I am unsure if i should do the Dog bone mount as yet as I hear this can cause even more...
With winter impending the stock 172 wheels where put back on but looked hidden in the arches, a deal was done with @182_steve for his 16mm hubcentric spacers after he had got his hands on some Turini's and the combo wasn't working for him.
Before an afters... not sure if i'll keep them on when...
