also at the back to large power leads plugged in and yellow one at the back, but not the blue one as cant see a lead this shudnt affect it correct?

this is not good, i disconected the battery for atleast 20 minutes turned the ignition to get power and turned on the stereo just keeps coming up with error, what else can i try so i get another atempt at it? it should work in a 172 correct

correct ? to get rid of error code shall i disconect leads again and just re connect and hope error code doesnt come up?

Tried to set it last night using the stero as dont have a stalk control animore, now says error, anyone know step by step button to use to set it i know after youve put the code in theres a button you have to hold down ?

yeah the some of the cf panels i made up my self and obviously the cf boot i had to fabricate to fit along with the spoiler as just a mould that neaded alot of cutting etc for locks

basically my 172 gearbox went the day of silverstone trax day , before I even got to the place. NEVER TRACKED THE CAR ONCE! Scenario is , ive spent looking at receits on parts and labour, etc roughly about 14000 on my 172, mainly is carbon fibre panels ie boot lid, bonnet, extreme splitter...

Cheers quickest option is just replacing with a 2nd hand box mine got the speedo drive who knows the gearbox i need jc5 is it ? Also how do i check for certain which model box i have thanks ?

True dave but surely a refurbed box will be better quality and last longer as all new parts etc ?

Trax today, my gearbox packed in , wouldnt go backward stuck in a forward gear now completly fooked no drive etc gearbox sounds like loose clogs, so shall i get a decent refurb or a 2nd hand one opinions etc ? And either way has any one got a guide to removall and refitting , also worth doing...
