Little update,
While the car is away I've bought a new rear light (finally as the old one had been cracked for some time!)
New inner wing bolts from pro-bolt (countersunk bolts and washers) and got my Paddock pass printed. Getting excited now.

Well for those who don't have me on facebook:
So glad i had this done now. After a few weeks waiting for it to be welded and then sprayed. Colin and the guys got it back today, looking very nice indeed.
Spoke to Colin an hour ago and he should be able to get the satchshift fitted...
This is very true.
We've decided to keep it as original as possible under the bonnet. Apart from a battery relocation and 4-2-1 manifold, just to keep costs down.

Thanks

Yeah, as soon as...

The bloke selling this didn't really know what it was worth wanted £900, and...
Thanks for the comments. Sadly it won't be a very active progress thread as it only gets bits bought for it when we have cash spare and with a ITB saxo build, that takes up most funds.
We do what we can though.
Had this a while now so thought i'd chuck a thread up. Basically a father son project / mild resto.

Currently just waiting on the quote from the bodyshop to fix the rot and spray the bay, as we think it will go over budget due to the work involved. Can't see me leaving it though.
