Well at end of play yesterday this is how she looked;
It's weird seeing it in that state but it's got to be done. All jet washed and ready to go to the bodyshop Monday.
Orignally we thought it was in a good state but after taking everything out there's a fair bit of rot in the bay (it is 15...
Now i'm confused. Do i know you? Or more to the point... do you know me?
EDIT - A little bit of snooping and i now know. Hi Paul lol.
Yeah the bonus came in handy
So Colin set to work on the car Wednesday afternoon. By the end of the day the engine, box and wiring loom were out. Now it's ready for shot blasting. No going back now.
Rayleigh, Essex. 2.5 hours each way approx. Bloody boring drive though, straight up to m25 through hindhead tunnel, then all the way round to junction 29.
It's worth it to go to a good tuner imo.
Was a bloke on his way in a new Lp640 or somthing, he rolled it and wrapped it around a tree with his wife with him. Police had shut the road on the way back i went. People who were there have said it was pretty bad, engine wasnt really attached anymore.

Yeah it was an experience driving to the mot station and back, not driven it for 7 months. So happy that it flew through with only an advisory i knew about anyway.
Feels like a full on racekor compared to the 1ltr Yaris iv'e been using. Really surprised me how light the steering was at speed...

DON'T BE STUPID.
Its a french car, what do you expect? It's got two personality's programmed into it. One to try and kill and and when that doesn't work the other is to surrender and break. But isn't that part of the joys of owning these tins? Yeah it may of s**t you up but if you were driving...
Yes mate its been a long time, and the car has come a long way since (had a standard interior then!!). I'll see you at Trax. PM me for my number if you like.
Re: Tim's R26 Banana Boost Bus
Helix's are good bits of kit Tim, its what the paxo will be running. Would a standard pressure plate be up to the job with just a Helix friction plate? Gives the same pedal feel but better bite. Just a thought. :)
Thanks mate, kill switch is very handy for me now.
Thanks buddy, really appreciate the comments :)
Will be at FCS and Trax as thats the normal for me. Just need it running before July.
