the brown plud needs a resistor in it as that is for your pretensioner
as for the black plug i'd need to check but i cant remember it being in my car lol
i used to put it in manual and f**k about loads but never really got anywhere
now all i use is the "AV" mode

ive just bought an uprated mount from prima racing
only heard good reports about it. looks good quality.
for a cheaper fix you can jam a 19mm socket in the bottom of the rubber and use cable ties to secure it in place. this works until the cable ties snap and the socket falls out.

ive got a small coolant leak coming from the nearside of the rad.

when i took the clocks apart i checked inside both sets. both sets of clocks has the same amount of SMD's in the same places. im just assuming that i need to run a wire to the multi plug to make the shift light, light up.
anyone else tried to fit a shift light?
i have a y reg 172
i understand that the x reg 172's came with shift lights.
If i fit the ecu, multitimer and he clocks the shift light doesnt work. Does anyone know if there is an extra wire that needs run on should it just be plug and play.

i found a switch but it would probably be easier to get to from underneath. only thing that made me think it wasn't there is that i'd have to drain all of the gearbox oil when i removed it. thats the french for you though haha

When i put the car in reverse the two reverse lights come on but they are flickering then after about 3 - 4 seconds they completely go off.
I've checked the earths just below the clusters but both of them were fine.
