Gutted for you!
If it's the Co part I'm thinking of it's a massive salvage yard near me. You don't want it going there!
I've never heard of it having to be taken away.
I'm pretty sure It's up to you who repairs it. Don't have to use the insurance Company's Repairer if you don't want to.
Make...
Definitely considering one of these! Any ideas on the difference in cost for the extra kit yet?
I like the fact it's using the original loom and ecu and the carbon looks great!
If I move my battery I could possibly retain my carbon airbox?
I've been trying to sell a black phase 2 on here with mot until Oct for £600 No-one's even taken a look at it!
I broke up a Monaco ph2 still got loads of bits left!
If you can get rid of it complete then go for it! scrap is very low at the moment!
I wouldn't have thought there was much point in any more than 250bhp in a clio.
Can you get a bolt on kit?
Obviously have to have it mapped but is there someone who will supply the kit?
I had a look at engine dynamics and it was cheaper fitted than as a kit online?
Clio turbo only list...
That's because a 182 is black gold and you're car will be pearl black same as a 172.
It'll be cheaper to buy it all in pearl black than to have it all painted unless you're not that bothered about the difference!
I think I might get the rest of the car up to spec first, cage and seats and put it on a diet.
Just sorted an alloy bonnet, aircon delete and vibratechnics engine mounts.
do a few events and go from there!
I've always had turbo's cars,
Fiesta rs turbo, 2× S2 rs turbo's , leon cupra R, even my Mercedes had a supercharger.
Don't get me wrong my clio is quick, my mate in his 240bhp leon cupra can't touch it.
Currently it has matched inlets, 64mm throttle body, cda carbon airbox, it's been remapped...
I've been looking at throttle bodies lately and just wanted some opinions on what's a good set up in terms of value for money/performance.
I'm hoping to some track days and maybe sprints/hill climbs etc so want it to be reliable as well.
Hi guys, I'm after a set of centre caps for my turbines.
I may have found some not sure if they are the correct ones?
Does anyone have a part no. Or can they have a look at theirs?
Just don't want to buy them if they're the wrong ones as I don't have any to compare.
Thanks
Apparently the wiring from the crank sensor can be an issue, if you got a new crank sensor from a motor factors sometimes you can get with a new plug and a short piece of cable. Something I was advised it could've been.
But if you've changed the loom???
@Stu Lane Try the 3 black relays in the fuse box, had a similar situation on my wife's clio sometimes it wouldn't fire within 10 mins of the last time I started it! After I'd play with the relays it would tend to fire up.
I replaced the relays at a cost of £60 from Renault but I think it was...
@Clio 1.5 dci
I have a useable pearl black 172 for sale mot until October. So you'd have everything including the interior and you could then sell off the engine etc. For £600
I have a full set in Monaco blue for a 172 for £140. Including the Fog lights, Needs the top grille and side skirt brackets.
You can always cut the rear exhaust pieces out and fit the trims once you've managed to get an exhaust system.
Hi, i have just fitted a tuner list cassette player to my wife's ph1 172.
Do they all have the cd changer control?
The changer is original but doesn't power up or eject the cassette?
There didn't seem to be any cable's left behind the dash.
Thanks
Just moved to n. Ireland, we have 2 ph1's.
I brought one over last weekend and I'm driving the other over on Saturday. The hazard switch didn't work in my wife's, i gave the console a wee slap and it worked. Might be worth a try!
Idle could be a sticky throttle cable or maybe the idle control...
