You can tell the demographic is getting more mature on CS, a few years back this would be a full on flame fest.
Did you see that Fuzz Townsend do this cam belt "trick" on car sos?
does the battery go flat if left a while ? if so it has a power short to earth, normally where the loom rubs against something or on a point where it flex's, But possibly just bad luck, yeah.
tyreleader 205 45 16 £87 delivered when i ordered last week
a guy on eBay does 195 50 15s for £100 collected from huddersfield for a scrubbed 6mm+ ex ginetta set...
A 75amp won't fit in the place of 110amp and even if it did the lower amp rating wouldn't cause your issues,
Check the main charge wiring from the Alt back and the battery cable isn't shorting to earth, but other than that I would put it down to bad luck with the Alternator rather than a fault...
the secondary latch (the bit you pull to release under the front of the bonnet) stuck in the released position so if the bonnet wasn't shut properly it would fly up once you got some speed up
The gearing is pretty shocking for hillclimbing, I ended up going down the plate diff and 5.25 final drive route, this gave me a second gear that acted as a long first and the rest of the gears were nice and close together, this is the box with a standard engine fitted
Another person that...
That looks very well sorted,
I would consider looking into lighter wheels and some AST suspension.
You may also come up against some opposition from other competitors regarding the front slam panel being missing when you start winning

Also on a static rolling road brake test you can't factor in for load transfer under braking so it will only tell you the brakes efficiency up until the lock point, where as you need to find...
Theyre bullshitting you, they won't be AD08 (non r) they stopped production in 2012 and there is definitely none of those left as all the hillclimbers bought the last of the old stock up 2 years ago
I would have it myself but its too far away for me

Mine was a gripper with 5.25 CWP built by mark (Northloop), it was f**king mental on the hillclimb considering it was only running 438 cams and some koni adjustables, no other Clio could get near it.
Check your gearing requirements on track though as with standard 1*2 ratios it will top out at...
I fitted a set the end of last season in the hillclimber and would lock if you were Neanderthal on the pedal. but i found them very good but did change back to 1144s if it was pissing it down.
