Thats why she needs more persuading / telling. She wasnt totally opposed to the idea, I quote "Ay would be good." but there were 'time' issues apparently.
And you survived India then
@fatty - I know mate, will try and get some from the next batch ;)
You got 2 each, depends how greedy you are with them :P I found that I didnt need that much to cover the car.
If you were more of a regular Fatty, you may have got them haha (just a joke i understand there are other things more important) But dont worry will see how many more batches are done...
Yeh i am free pretty much all the time lol, so just give me a shout.
As for fuel I managed 160 miles from home to Exeter on about 1/3 of a tank, which was about 34/5 mpg going via a303. Meets usualy take up 1/4 of a tank on cruise at 70 :( fat heavy car :(
Have to see what is causing it to fail again. Weird that.
He was trying to say nest but we either had a speech impediment or the more likely that he was totally pissed and could only say 'nessht'
Didn't pick up a fresh roast for Sunday then lol. Wish I had been going back to Plymouth good fun...
Good meet tonight. Not to cold and not raining ;)
And chip so you don't feel left out
Although I did forget the sauce on the side. Hope your food was as nice ;)
And that drunk guy at the end haha he still has me in stitches! Lol
Should be there for this one. Wont be coming up with you guys from Plymouth as I am already in Exeter.
Will try and remember to bring the home made waxes ;)
Does it really matter? its still going to fly like sh*t off a shovel!
Nice of you to donate that engine Chip, at least it will get well used at its new home.
Good luck with the project Mike, certainly looks like it will be a good one.
I'm running cs 5 on the front cs3 at the rears, and they need replacing soon. Will probably get the same again, yes they are slightly more expensive but they are a good tyre for all conditions.
Have heard of Bridgestones (re05a?) or something like that, seem to get good reviews but they are...
So a final update, hopefully.
Got a call this afternoon from RUK, explaining when the dealer checked the car it would have counted as being out of warranty, it expired on the 7/03 at midnight. So when it went in morning of the 8th it was technically out of warranty, thus the reason they say I...
Just to be correct before someone starts complaining :p
Guess 8 - 8:15 ish, just over an hours drive to the RR
I need to get mcgherkin (will drop you a text later mate) and probably some fuel along the way, and we are picking binny up on the way at Ashburton.
They are not uncomfortable on the motorway, mine is FF on h&r's, not much noticeable wind or road noise, exhaust is fine, if you really listen hard there is a sweet spot when it becomes almost unnoticeable.
Fuel is the problem with motorways, drop the speed down to 60-65 and there is defiantly...
cold air for intake temps innit - worth many bhps
There is a pub in the village, but a short drive would take us to Sidmouth or Exmouth, where there will be food available for those in need.
Thank for looking.
I dont know if its possible, but if you have done these on other cars under warranty, do you have a log of them at all? reg number, milage at the time, date the work was done etc. Would like some form of evidence as it were, when I ring RUK and complain about it.
No had it done at an independent, asked RUK if this would be warranty or not. They then phoned dealership, they asked to see the car to confirm. Confirmed it is not a warranty issue. Won't do anything about it
Expires in about 30 mins
Yeh pm coming across
If they can be done via warranty them RUK will be hearing from me. I have already paid for a part and having it done independently now, but if their is inconsistency in between dealerships then they will be hearing from me about it!
I take it you guys work for renault in...
Accorinding to some kind of renault diagnostic system printout thing they showed me. Anything to do with steering is 100% customer, meaning the customer has to foot the bill.
As for an update:
Well having been given the run around, having to explain myself several times to different people...
