Electrical tape is a good idea how did u fix yours or was it your seal not drain pipe ?

On mine you can see the entrance to the pipes if you just pop the glass out, sun roof may have changed as yours is a facelift Mk2

Cheers for the advice :) I was visiting home last weekend when I noticed the problem had the pillar off couldn't see the pipe is it different on ph1's and ph2's ?

I'm 45 miles away from the car at uni, yeh I was back at the weekend checked the seals there all good so poured warm water down to see if it was blocked and it created an instant wet patch by the drivers sun visor.

Not a bad idea I will see. A post in my other thread in the problem solving section said the drain pipe is under the a pillar but I had it off as I tried to release the head lining to get at it but couldnt. anyone seen the drain pipe under the a pillar ?

Was thinking along these lines I do have a car cover the only problem is the car will need to be started from time to time to keep it running so I was thinking maybe block the pipe with something but then figured more water may pour in once its blocked, Btw saw you got your spacers hub centrics...

Update So my drivers side drain pipe on the sunroof is leaking badly and I am 45 miles from the car, anyone got any ideas on a semi-permanent quick fix to last till december when I can fix it.

Cheers mate I have a car cover lying around at home but the problem is finding a dry day to put it on the car

So same as pretty much all Mk2's with a sun roof it has started to leak this year I have checked the seals and they are in good condition I then checked the drain pipes both sides and it turns out the driver's side drain pipe is leaking soaking the sun visor and drivers seat. the car is parked...

Just push the arch liners back put in the screws you can then leave the bottom hanging, that's what I did and had no problems

No worries mate, It was a great day, good to meet a few guys off here and see some awesome cars at the meet.

Spotted at the mighty car mods meet it had a CS sticker and some crazy bass coming out of the boot.

Haha something like that, I looked at the video someone had made there wasn't a single clio in it :( hopefully there will be some clio's featuring in the MCM video
