Our 3rd season in the CSCC Tintops and we were very much looking forward to it. We were not at all disappointed with our engine failure at the last race of 2011, as we had been competitive towards the end of the year with a very old and tired engine. A new lump for the 2012 season had been...
I think ast top mounts need a little spacer machined to fit other brands of coilover but dont quote me. Josh will know im sure.
Phill have you asked Dan 519 about Spax stuff? If we didnt already have the ast's off ,y old trackcar we'd of investigated them. The good thing would be you could...
shucks, fanks :o
Tony taught me everything i know.
With what we have planned over winter (small tweeks) the car should be slightly quicker over one lap, more consistant and therfore do better total race times. Weather that will be reflected in race results depends on the competition.
Geo is always checked/reset after each race. Damper settings change depending on circuit and conditions. geo settings pretty much stay the same as weve tried lots of different things and that works most places
i wont be unfortunetley. tony might, not sure yet.
:o thanks again mate for your hard work.
For sure a childhood dream fulfilled for me. Couldn't of asked for anymore. A repeat will be difficult as the series is getting more competitive all the time. But as Tony said in an earlier post we have...
I had a nice phone call today from Cscc.
Tintops Class A season results:
1st Nigel Ainge (and series champion)
2nd Mike Jordan
3rd James Payne/Tony Hunter
Well chuffed to say the least. I guess that makes us 2nd best class A car as Mike and Nigel raced the same car but Mike missed 2 rounds so...

In no way a serious comment, thought that was obvious. :S
Was a response to someone asking what our plans were, just a bit of fun mate, as you know more than most about us and next year...
Nice write up Mark. Great race. Lol at the windows going down after the stop.
Wow, that white Clio got off the line well ;)
Good move on the 206 into druids, i tried that on the ktec car and shat my pants.
We short shift to 3rd in middle of knickerbrook, settles the car down for the exit...
Was good but not the best, that was the red flagged start at Donny.

Everyone. We got a diff so did Andy Joss and Ian Collins coz they'd seen on here (or website) we had one, Lol.
Keeping cards a little closer from now on, :p
We have had an issue with geometry all year that only came to light part way through. That will be corrected and improve things slightly.
Other than that I don't want to go into details. Its competition at the end of the day and i know people spy on here lol. ;)
