Torn between these two
Or going for one of these BTM exhausts.
I've heard the latter is a rival/replacement to the yozza exhaust? That was pretty highly praised according to a friend of mine.
I'm going to be running a standard cat to save hassle down the line.
Just wanting to know between...
This sound spot on.
How much does this cost? Does it need done at a certain place or can any tuner get it done? It's pretty new to me!
Im guessing I'm better waiting till I have my new exhaust fitted ?
Ok money bags! Ha
I'll probably just make do with the shankooks I have on just now and wait till the worst weather is over then treat myself to 4 new ps3s
Can someone explain why camskill have three different ps3s they range from 79 to 95 pound in the 205/45/16 variety. I think it's speed rating but I believe these are the correct original size for the 182...
Actually if you compare the rainsport 3s on http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Uniroyal/Rainsport-3.htm they get better marks than the ps3 :-/
I've never had either yet so can't say. Just after somthinf that will perform best in the wet winter months
Ive not even looked into winter tyres. Wouldn't know where to start.
Will do a bit more researched on the ps3. Don't think I'll find them much cheaper than that
If it's anything like last year I'm hoping it won't be that bad.
Im torn between these or the rainsport 3s. I know this would be a no brainer to some but Scotland is wet (a lot) and especially with the winter months ahead and I'm down to my last 3mm tread all round. Camskill do 4 ps3s for about 330 delivered or rainsports for 57 a corner. Bit of a difference
The dry grip on the michelins will outshine the rainsports probably but from what I hear not a great deal. But will the rain sports outshine the michelin in the wet? Probably quite a bit (I assume). I can't believe rainsports are the price they are for the reviews they get...
Btm exhausts replace the old yozza I believe? Still in two minds what exhaust to get to be honest. Don't want to break the bank so it's between the ktr janspeed or ultra.. Just need to decide what sounds best. Wouldn't mind a bit louder than standard!
Also what's the script with the rs tune...
Mines an 04 plate 182 and from what I've gathered has two holes where the clio badge is :(
These rs ones just stick so hoping it'll stick over the two jokes no bother. Seen the same one on enbay for 25 as well.
Thanks mate. Hoping this thread isn't referring to these!
I was going to go for michelin but they are nearly 100 quid more plus don't know if they would be as good in the wet! But more similar in the dry
So having sold my M3 I was looking for something that wasn't going to be a boring run about and wanted something other than Honda or BMW for a change. Also something I could chuck about knockhill in the better weather of the new year.
Enter the Clio!
She's a full spec (I believe) double cup...
Nice one bud. Im the other way near Corstorphine. Be good to get a look/listen to some other 182s! My standard exhaust is blowing so a new ss effort is next on the list
I was actually looking to get 4 uniroyal rainsport 3s. £265 (205/45/16) all in. Scotland isn't the driest so thought they would be a sound investment! Heard they were really good though so this is concerning :-/
Hmm that looks quite good as well!
I'm just trying to tidy up the rear end without totally stripping it.
Has anyone used this badge to cover the holes? Seems a bit extreme getting them filled and painted if the badge covers them and stops any leaks etc
Been a long time lurker. Very decent forum. Very impressed so far!
Got a Racing blue Clio 182. Nice n standard at the moment! Few plans in the pipe line but over all quite impressed with the little car! Came from an 05 M3 so it's a bit of a change!
Here's what she looks like...
