    bent connecting rods

Having snapped a stock zetec crank I would not be worried on a road car. It takes alot to do it . The next one was billet to make sure I didn't do it again

    bent connecting rods

Having seen many bent rods in race engines that has impacted something at high RPM , the piston and valves on that cylinder are likely toast as well unless it did the head gasket and dumped a shed load of water in thats had a huge load through it , so either water(hydraulic damage) and piston...

Getting home from a track after having an accident

RAC used to be very good as they are closely tied to the Motorsport Association ( it is the RAC MSA of course) Do check on recovery limits though as they only recover so many times per year Honesty is the best policy with them. I think AA won't recover accident damaged cars but RAC will...

    Is my car too dear?

You intimate there are no receipts backing up the previous stamps and nothing that showed the cam belt was done on time Those are the things I check when looking through history and the things that start to raise an eyebrow As @hans have both said 6.5k if you want to shift it

    Is my car too dear?

You won't get over 7 k with mods and that mileage sorry , unless you sit on it for months You also admit nothing backs up any service history prior to your ownership People looking to pay top money for a car like yours at 8k plus will want solid backed up history ,no mods , and 50 to 60k...

Over the noise limit during a track day

Bedford on track mics for noise are linked to the local council , they really don't want them triggered as it affect their planning permission , and thats not something they want or need . Noise tests should be 0.5m from the exhaust at 75% max rpm. and the wadding inside a baffle disintegrated...
