Do you have a spec anywhere listing what's on it ?
Can proberbly give you some pointers on the brake upgrades but in all honesty the ford callipers , decent fluid and pads will give you really decent stopping power.
A term you will learn is TADTS
And is what i would respond to your linkage...
Where it falls relative to the dash is important , most people find the short bent one falls easier to hand due to the driving position being more laid down
Shoulders tend to be further back relative to first gear

When it's all sorted get a full geo and corner weight
Can't remember where you are but blink in Cheshire or Northampton Motorsport
Or playskool

The pro races are a nice look
Would have stuck 6" on the front though

Let's hope you got through the offset minefield ok
The factory one with bronze bushes has always just worked in all honesty
I gave them huge amounts of grief and only replaced one once once you use the decent quaife shifter and a solid new extender the shift is a nice clean snick between gates
It feels fine

It's the extender that gives the issue
Yes run the quaife caterham short linkage and a new extender
Once those are in you will find its back to being spot on again.

140bhp go like stink ............... you will be surprised , that won't be under 5 seconds to 60 so can be outsprinted by a golf/a3/leo/1 series bmw .
things get quick above 200bhp in them, once your north of 400bhp per tone they feel quick ......
I used to run 250bhp 480kgs on slicks ...
As our friend said above , Steve Tillet will make a custome seat as he will have for both of us in the past :)
but you bought the wrong car :P
it is most likely JK only , or one of the westfield race seats
can you confirm you have bought the wrong car ? and have an SEI and Not an SEI W ,(i know the answer as i can see you have fixed rear arches) i assume its not a W and you may have an issue , however a caterham is narrower between the tunnel and the outer panel , and i would suggest that Revie ...
Barnby wheels also have a habit of shattering in the middle ,
Image would be a far better bet , too many barnby caterham wheel failures hence people nowadays won't with a bargepole .
No 3.92 is nicer both road and track
Hated the 3.62 on the road
You might not like the long first on the road to be fair either but that sounds a plan
Avoid a cage , get a decent hood made that fits and enjoy it
Those bits sound a plan so far
Somewhere in the build will be reciept for...
If you can go 7 on the rear , 6 looks a bit silly
You're not on big power as 165 is fairly mundane in them and it won't take long to get used to .
When you get north of 220 it's interesting as don't forget it has the aerodynamics of a brick .
For road work the 3.62 diff is ok but if you work...
What's up with the box ??
You can go 13" no problem , i could just about run 8 inch rears but more normal is 7 rear and 6 front.

Yep , one year we did 2 days at zandvoort , then a day in Amsterdam before driving to spa for 2 days
Then a month later 2 days at historic Dijon then 2 days at Magny Cor .
Had the westy shipped in a lorry and drove over in the Elise as the wife wanted her own car rather than share .
However...

If you need inspiration

You will also find the caged cages and mog Motorsport pages have lots of pics with my car and a black s2000 westy as about 10 years ago we developed lots of bits with both companies

i think a grand would be far better spent here for a day
http://www.palmersport.com/
but then i have done both although my day driving out on the roads was a bunch of classic supercars and cost way less than a grand
Palmersport is the best day driving someone elses cars money can buy , done...
I'd switch that diff from a 3.62 to a 3.92
Be good to know what ratios that box has
Is it straight cut or a semi synchro bgh box with a long first ?
In most cases a straight cut is a total mare to shift and is only really useful for sprinting.
The k is also not that torquey compared to a...
There is an assembly that moves the gear selector back (assuming the gear knob is not under the dash)
It will be worn , replace the whole thing

And i have all the suspension setup and mod ideas you could ever want ;-)
My setup became legendary across the north once my car was sold up that way

Yep
People often quote stuff without knowing the full story
His stuff i have seen in Geneva is all top stuff
His Chelsea showroom is full of nice stuff too

Nice to see an RS though (not the actual car)
Fortunately think we slowed enough but had been flashed earlier
Renault megane estate with camera out the rear window and flash attached to the bumper !!
To be fair Kahn design have been a bit more than a range rover bling factory for a long time.
They actually make their own Aston based car , do conversions to about every supercar known , have a hugely wealthy client base and have a f**king huge stand at geneva every year which isn't exactly a...
It becomes natural eventually , i am used to caterhams etc with light front ends and narrow ish tyres
Your modulation becomes better though it's easier without servo assistance
Just got to the bottom of the post and the above is spot on ,
some people corner weight across the diagonals with the driver in the car and some across axles .......obviously the diagonal weighting and coros axel weighting is difficult to get the same , but the weight on each front wheel being...
