Great turbo choice mate, you'll be very happy with the results. Not sure why you want a meg head though? I ran the stock head with stock cams and with 1 bar of boost hit 341bhp @ RStuning.
They're the same mate. I tried the race gearbox mount in mine to cope with the extra weight of the ND0 gearbox. It was horrible. The extra cabin vibrations were ridiculous. Swapped back to the fast road one and it was a lot better.
I used the fast road ones at 374bhp and they were fine at that power
Maybe off the mark it would be a different story, through the gears though it wasnt anything amazing. Without looking up an S3's weight, im guessing its probably a 1/3rd heavier with only 80bhp more so not overly suprising really. My little Bro bought his GF a TTS and has had it mapped so I know...
I'm busy running the clio in which means I'm limited to 6k and am only making 221bhp @.4 boost. I honestly thought he would of sailed away from me but side by side off a roundabout I had the legs on him. Cool kid though big smiles and a thumbs up off him.
Should be a genuine 500plus, I'm just running it in at the minute though.
With the running in map it's limited to 6k and only running .4bar of boost. Its making 221bhp but has wilder cams than normal so should pull all the way to the red line. Not 100% sure what it would make at 7.5k
Yeah I actually need to make more of an effort to take photos. It's not really that extreme by today's standards.

Good stuff mate, I'm just sorting out a few niggles. I've got a remote oil filter set up that I'm fitting as my inlet is bottom fed, which makes oil changes a ball ache. Hopefully doing a few shows and track days later in the year
Just had to do a crank seal change on mine as it was weeping, I thought it would be easy enough to pull the box off with the engine in situ. Top tip, just drop the engine and box, what a pain in the ass it was.
Spotted you in Bolden a while back but was driving my Dis Astra so didn't bother flashing.
Think Grey and Ultra Red are by far the best colours on a 200, was tempted to get one and move my turbo conversion over but it's hard to get rid of a one owner Trophy (even if it has been lightly tuned)
It's a can of worms mate, the 225 inlet won't fit on a 172 head, if you fit the 172 inlet it fouls on the meg turbo.
Then which ever head you bolt the turbo too the down pipe hits the MC.
So the options are Clio head with vvt and custom inlet.
or Meg head, inlet and no vvt
I used both upper engine mounts from a Clio, plus a custom rear mount. Everything was nice and level. Used a bit of heat and a hammer on the chassis rail and didn't touch the sub frame.
Wonder if it's because I'm using a Clio head instead of a Megane?
I know what you mean Gally, there was a time when turbo conversions were sold as the ultimate upgrade for a Clio. The truth is most drove like utter cr@p, everyone wanted it done cheap so they would scrimp on ECU, intercoolers, fuel system etc... Once you throw in a few gearbox issues its enough...
It's nowhere near as straight forward as you would hope.
The stock Clio ecu won't run a turbo.
The jc5 gearbox won't bolt to the f4r block and would wreck it even if it did.
Renaults with f4rt lumps fitted have the brake MC and servo on the passenger side. In a Clio it's on the drivers side...
Glad everyone is having such good experiences with Andyrg@ ClioTurbo think I'll write a little review of my experiences with him this week, be a nice little edition to his ever expanding feedback.
