At the risk of sounding blasphemous - how accurate are the AC stock models in terms of speed?
I've found that I'm struggling in gaining on cars during long stretches (such as Highlands Long) with the 787B. That's not against other racing cars as such - but mere modified ones.
It didn't set...
I think what works with button boxes though is that you can either scribble at the side of them as to what they do - or just tear off a bit of post-it note for the realism look! 😄
This is dangerous. It also led me to SimHub and button boxes, which I'm very keen on learning more about.
Would love to assign random switches and buttons to something on one of these button boxes.
Went a bit indulgent last week and bought myself the GT Track seat and mount - along with the TV/monitor stand.
Only put it together today and could do with making some adjustments. But it is a wonderful piece of kit that sits nicely in the box room. Haven’t done any cable management or...
Had mine from '98 until I sold it in 2004 when the 182 was ordered.
Great for the time (in a straight line) and one of the very, very few small capacity turbo'd hatches of the era. More impressive that it was from a time where any engine force-fed was frowned upon by the insurers.
Got to admit. That sounds like it would be on par with controlling a Space-X launch with an abacus.
However, gamepad controller integration is more mainstream these days. Playing it on an iPad and Xbox controller combo might not actually be too bad - though no substitute for K&M, imo.
So, so glad it's back in your possession Andy, but your missus is right to call the car Christine!!
It must be an affliction of red cars. A guy I know at work bought an Alfa Giulia in red - loves it to bits but it appears to have a string of unfortunate events with it, one after the other.
I think there's also an extra layer to that with some cars.
It seems these days that either a 1.5 or 1.6 turbo sits in a multitude of cars as the default type of engine. With the RS Clios, they came out the back-end of the era where turbos were deemed to be a swear word and in turn, dialled up...
It's surprising how quickly sat-navs appear archaic. There's the constant changing of roads that requires updates for one thing, but the flexibility of them seems completely outclassed by mobiles and tablets these days.
I use Google Maps when on the PC or need street-view, but the really...
First impressions of CoH3 are very good. They've done a hybridised view of the Total War enlarged map, that pairs up with the battle view familiar to the CoH type of play.
Graphically, it chugs a bit - but it is pre-alpha. I've maxed everything and its either not optimised well or the fact that...
.....and there goes a few hundred hours of my life to this, no doubt. Absolutely, superb news!

Will be interesting how the Italian looking backdrop will pan out. I'd previously hoped that if...
It's a good shout this.
I've got jiffy bags, plastic bags and even sections of toolboxes with various bolts, nuts and washers in them.
When the time comes to find the b******s that you only bought recently, you end up buying yet more as you can't recall where you placed the original lot!
I don't know what I'm surprised at more? That the Monaro is almost the same dimensions as the Volvo. Or that the Volvo seems a bit diddy in comparison?
