182 spoiler brake light - not working

@rs 1an - whereabouts did you obtain that one from, if you don't mind me asking?

182 spoiler brake light - not working

Thanks for the responses guys - @hipwell it's the Cup spoiler unfortunately. Looking at @rs 1an 's picture above, I can see how easy it must be to chip the edges in flicking it out as per @Coops Mk1 's comments.

    Sunglasses Ron’s Peugeot 107

Good viewpoint that and exactly right. I actually think the 107 looks better than the majority of the new ocean liner sized Minis anyway.

    Newbie from Manchester

Welcome Adam! Plenty of us from this neck of the woods on here. I'm originally from Ashton-under-Lyne, but live just north of Bolton now.. Any big plans for it, or purely cosmetic fixes for now?

New Member - Looking to buy! :)

@oli99 - Welcome aboard! If you find a decent one, they are still a cracking car. You'll be reaching for a gearchange far more often than what you'd probably do in your current ST and it won't feel as quick through the lack of torque. BUT - they are proper fun cars and as others - condition is...

182 spoiler brake light - not working

I suppose given the car's age, things like this will start to fail. How do you actually get inside the bulb/lens area to begin with?

182 spoiler brake light - not working

Hi all, Followed the wife in my car this morning and noticed that the spoiler brake light didn't come on at all. What's the best process of checking what's failed or needing to be looked at? Cheers, D.

Yep - in since new with delivery miles on it. :)

    Rear bearing washer/spacer.

I've been a victim of my own clumsiness in the past with this. Mine barely lasted three months before it started droning and needed replacing. It's that common an issue - I'd recommend that this be made a sticky? @Sunglasses_Ron

couple of problems with gaming pc

How's the 980 connected to the TV? Via HDMI or DP? I'm assuming it's the former? If it's DP - there's an update tool that I've used before that has been helpful... https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/ Any idea what version the BIOS currently is compared to the latest one...

How distracting are touchscreens in cars

Lol - and it will happen. "So why are you trading in your 320ee again, please?" "Well, sat in traffic on the M62 again and the streaming of Smash My Backdoors In v.62 wouldn't skip to the shower scene. It's knackered."

How distracting are touchscreens in cars

Exactly this. It's far easier and simpler to present everything through a screen than to have physical representations of buttons and dials, etc. Added to that, today's obsession with society to customise everything 'becoz I can'. The manufacturers will get far more Likes due to Karen switching...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Every now and then I check what insane stuff Overclockers dumps out in terms of the 8Pack PCs. Genuinely interested in who would buy something like this? I mean, having three 3090s onboard and SLi now strictly only being a two-card option these days - it clearly leaves the third 3090 for the...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Really am curious as to where a 3080Ti is going to be pitched between these two. Assuming they release one as per previous generations of cards?

    Battlefield 1

It's interesting watching those back. Quite often, you're not leading the moving targets at all - instead aiming at the body of the target itself and firing, which clearly works. I'm wondering if the game engine is much more player 'friendly' towards planting the crosshairs on targets you want...

The 'Where's my old Clio' Thread.

The only four cars I have ever owned. Sporting - now tin-cans/landfill. GT Turbo - same fate. Evo VI - probably more structural content within an Oxo cube wrapper than in the bodywork itself. I know the shell was scrapped, but the engine lives on. Shame the image has a V front bumper and...

    Assetto Corsa modding (PC)

Definitely. The player stays in the same spot and has minimal inputs to think about ‘outside’ the helmet.

    Engine Dynamics - Experiences?

I had Engine Dynamics do the remap on my engine after the rebuild. I'm eight months on and it's not missed a beat. I'd personally recommend them - especially with them being very familiar with Clios. edit - And distance is irrelevant should quality of service ring true. I'm north of Manchester...

WRC 2 Fiesta R5 testing @ Greystoke, Cumbria

I honestly don't know how he keeps a level head with it all. I was chatting to him the other day about something completely different and he just converses like anyone else would. Oh, but by the way you've got this whole WRC thing going on this year too....! o_O Still kind of chuffed how I used...

WRC 2 Fiesta R5 testing @ Greystoke, Cumbria

Nice to see Gus progressing at Ford! :) .....lol at the arch-gap, though no doubt on these rockets, that is most definitely needed. https://www.wrc.com/en/news/season-2020/wrc/greensmith-heads-youthful-m-sport-ford-line-up/?fbclid=IwAR32BHd_z-g3TAi0pvW7AQOS2ZQjyTHtEDHHlXeaaINM17n7QywhEmHXGJk

    Engine spluttering and running rich

Yep - another nod here to the issue probably being down to the injectors. Quite impressed at how long my OEM ones lasted, tbh.

    Cyberpunk 2077

And there we have it. The single reason why I've gone absolutely nowhere near it. When the DLCs sprinkle down and a GOTY Edition exists - I'll take a look. Until then, I have plenty more other stuff to spend time on.

    JDM Imports - Canada

I bet it is! It's great hearing about some bonkers JDM models that you've never heard of before. If those lottery numbers came up, I'd be flying to Japan and end up like a kid in toy shop at one of those auctions.

    JDM Imports - Canada

Only the Japs would have the awesome logic to make a force-fed RWD version of safe, practical 4WD model that already exists!

    Bioshock Infinite

Another series on my list that I’ve not really progressed through! Working through the first Bioshock (admittedly rather slowly) before getting to the second game, then this. I recall getting it some 7+ years back and trying it on my PC at the time. Looked good, but wanted to complete the...

    DiRT Rally 2.0

Had a dabble with the rallycross daily challenge earlier and though I was WAY off the pace in terms of times, it's easy to see where a lot of progress could be made. However, I'm puzzled (and admittedly sceptical) about some of the stage times posted. Just did a New England stage in an Evo X...
