If you ever find yourself up...
It really is a beautiful place! Getting stuck behind tractors and getting your car flight after every journey kinda doesn't matter when you can take your car somewhere like that.
I'll get a google maps link when I'm on the computer
Haha, she wasn't! Shortly after taking that we saw the horses...
Thanks :) I'm no photographer, I just take pics from angles that I think look nice.
As far as I'm aware they're wild, the mrs said they are and it's just vast open land for miles and miles.
The catch is sticky and doesn't clip down properly, I haven't taken it to Renault yet (no space) but I...
As the weather wasn't too bad today, me and my girlfriend went for a scenic drive around near her house.
She very rarely wants to just 'go out for a drive', so I made the most of it and took some pics :)
Firstly, we came across this on the way...
We then proceeded on our trip and here it...
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
Good shout guys, I didn't think of that colour combo.
I've just a done another quick shop and it looks much better:
It gives the bullet more depth and also allows the RB detailing to stand out more. I think I am defo going to get that done :D
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
I've been toying with the idea of getting the '2.0 16v' on the bullets done in RB and have done a quick photoshop to get an idea.
It's not the best example but what do people think? :)
I do approximately 300 miles a week and that is costing me approximately £55-£60.
To put it in to perspective, I had a 1.4 Skoda Fabia as a run around whilst looking for an Rs and for the same weekly trip I was spending around £45.
Nice! I wasn't interested this colour when I was looking for a Rs but after seeing them more and more on here I have really grown to like them :)
Maybe get the '2.0 16v' on the bullets painted the same colour as the car?
Re: Poll Time - Yes Or No (Can Admin/Mod Poll This Please)
They don't suit the car at all really.
You've combined old and new and unfortunately it doesn't work.
Nice one, thanks! Is this the one you mean? http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Britemax_Metal_Twins_8oz_Kit_9.html
If I was using the above would I include autosol in the process at all? Also, is my wire wool and microfibre combo suitable for the job?
Hi guys,
Exhaust polish....what would you recommend?
I'm currently using autosol with some wire wool and then buffing off with an old microfibre. However, it doesn't give me the required shine that I would like.
Any help appreciated :)
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
I think I am going to go for the cooksports tbf.
I'll do some research to see if there's any noticeable difference in handling between the two, if not I'll be ordering some in the next month or so.
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
Thanks guys :)
When I first got it I thought the ride height was fine, after looking at others my mind has changed and it now seems like a tractor!
In the near future I'm going to look to invest in either some cooksports or sportlines . Is there a noticeable difference...
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
Received my new style RS badge today and fitted it as soon as I got home.
If anyone would like my old clio and renault sport badges then they are free to a good home :)
Next on order is the black bumper inserts that weren't replaced after the front end respray.
Re: Jack-D's FF RB 182
I also gave the car a full polish and wax for the first time this afternoon.
I feel it came up really well and the paintwork seems in really good nick, with only a few small swirls.
I also got a better picture of how the bonnet is now sitting.
