    Wheel alignment Sheffield/Manchester

If you're heading over Manchester way then Drury Lane Services in Oldham is where I go. Excellent service and they know what they are doing. Hunter alignment system and if you give them the specs you want they'll set it up for you.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

It's 00 Grade that people use. But if it's just dull and not marked heavily I would just go at it with some autosol and a microfiber. It'll bring it up great.

    T Vs M

Monaco wins for me. Something about the red stops the trophy looking as mean and purposeful. Needs a splitter ASAP though

They are only offering it to broadband customers at the moment so I assume he has. It'll be coming later to non Sky BB customers at a later date.

    Driveshaft differences

Yep, 182 uses a half shaft where the 172 doesn't.

    Melted spark plug!! Causes?

Have you thought about running an AFR gauge and seeing if you notice it running dangerously lean at any point? For me it suggests that either there is an intermittent fault with the injector or the mapping is bad. Actually it could even be the fuel pump giving up and not being able to provide...

    Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/Wilwood/2118

This was the dream when I was driving my 1.2, he ended up getting a Mito iirc. His SportKA was superb too.

Build a PC (Desktop)... £450-£500 Challenge.

For the OS go to kinguin and get a windows 10 pro license for roughly £15. Absolutely no issues with them.

What have you done to your car today ???

Glad to see parts of my old car living on. The centre section was bought separately for £165 direct from ktec about a year ago. Originally I bought the system second hand for about £200 iirc with the unsilenced centre. Top tip to keep the exhaust hidden is to twist the backbox so if you're...

What to look out for when fitting OMP wheel please

The angle sensor is that black curve shaped bit sticking out just above the bolt. Try and keep that on the top and don't let it spin either way, needs to stay central at the top

What to look out for when fitting OMP wheel please

Angle sensor is part of the squib setup. Basically make sure your wheels are straight when you take it if and don't piss about with it

Ticking from engine after belt change?

Sounds like a noisy lifter to me. Pretty common on them but obviously without seeing the car and hearing it that would just be a blind guess

    SKY Q

Monthly cost isn't bad at all tbh as we have the full package currently with 2 multiroom boxes. The issue is upfront it was going to cost us £249 and they will not budge on the installing costs. £99 for an extra box install. I asked what we get for that and it was "they come and check your...

Cub's Flamer - Supercharged, Cage etc

That looks so mean on the willy wheels with (what looks like) 205 section rubber on them. Lovely stuff. You should leave the flamer with me for the next 6 months as you won't have time for it and I definitely won't wrap it round a tree.

    Phase 1 in the winter!

Go to tesco/asda/wherever, look in the fridge at the small innocent smoothie bottles and find one with a hat on them. They're getting scarce now as they are usually around early Jan.

New track car advice, R26, 197 or Fiesta ST

By running costs that is what he means, not referring to fuel economy or reliability. Purely x part cost more to replace on a meg than on a clio etc.

New track car advice, R26, 197 or Fiesta ST

Depends, Running costs of the 197 and Meg are much more than that of the 172/182. It really does depend how much you're willing to shell out.

    Welshname's Deep Black 197

Given up with the stereo for now. I'm sure I'll figure a way around it but I've been too busy to have a go. I've also treated myself to a remap at RS Tuning to get rid of the flat spot. Was planning to leave it until after I've done the belts in summer but a group buy popped up and it's...
