Cheers bud! But yours is much much cleaner! Been following you on Instagram for a few months before I got this. Might have helped sway me into getting one lol
Few bits ordered for this this week, some 20mm spacers around to help the R888s clear the inner arches and a stud nut conversion kit.
Really can't wait to get back out in this.
Today I didn't have much planned and the weather was nice so I thought I'll have a crack at restoring my headlights.
I started off with 2000 grit wet and dry and it didn't really do much, so I got the machine polisher out and some heavy cutting compound, both headlights come up really well, I...
Best looking MX5 I have seen! Cant help but think it would look cleaner with no rear badges/stickers and them vents/iserts that ive seen on a few mx5s where the sidelights are.
Makes me want an MX5.
As some of you may have seen on @SimpleJoee thread, we went for a drive yesterday from Brecon > Llandovery > Black mountains.
Really nice drive, nice weather, amazing roads but too much traffic, so won't be going on a bank holiday again.
A few pics.
Also I seem to have...
Was a really nice drive out, Really enjoyed it, We will have to do it again when its less busy, Couldnt enjoy any of the nicer roads.
Like the pictures of the 2 cars together!
Thought I'd put up a thread for my 106 GTi track car project, someone may be interested.
Paid £300 for it in September 2014, looked a bit worse for wear but ran and drove well, on 104k, had some paint work done on it and then started playing with it properly.
Owned a couple of 16v engines...
Awesome to hear! I've never used a machine polisher before lol! And I've got chemical guys complains but I'd imagine the results would be similar?
Got any pics of how yours has come up?
Few things have arrived over the last couple of days.
This should smarten the rear up a little.
And also received these:-
A new hazard light switch, mine was broken.
An aluminium foot rest
New window switch
And also a new number plate light because mine wasn't clear any more.
Have...
I think I wouldve been the same with my GTi if i didnt have the money in it that i have or if i didnt do that track day in it.
The Clio is a better car alround.
South Wales, I'd like a fast road set up done on it, is it worth buying and fitting camber bolts before? I don't mind travelling to get it done either, so anywhere around Cardiff/Bristol would be ideal.
Sorry if it's a daft question, what benefit do you get from camber bolts? Does it stop tram lining?
My 182 is lowered on coilovers, yet to determine brand as I haven't had time to have a proper look, and sometimes when changing gear when going for it or coming off the gas at high revs the...
erm not 100% on the model, if you look in the pic I think you can just make it out.
Cheers, I'm yet to use most of it, waiting for just before French car show.
Fitted my new head unit with connrcts2 wiring so can use the stalk which is good.
Then give it a clean and quick polish Friday night before japfest yesterday, fitted my smaller plate as well.
Also ordered a new Renault sport badge for the boot.
