Removed a sticker from the back bumper, Ordered fresh number plates including smaller front plate and also a new head unit and adaptor for steering wheel controls.

Cheers bud. Yeah, I beleive anything like potholes or high curbs on track will bend them. Booked for the alloys to get refurbished in silver, Dropping them off sunday. Also ordered 3/4 size plate last night, Should be here soon.

I am a bit hesitant about getting the bumper done just incase it doesn't match. Could sort out a few things, I do like the F1s so don't need the alloys and the bumper is annoying but I want to sort some smaller things first.

Thay are 15s mate, I still want 2118s, Dont really mind about the additioanl weight, Its a daily, So wont notice the difference. Gonna get the car booked in for rear bumper respray at the end of the week.

Would anyone be kind enough to link me to the part needed? I've had a look in eBay but getting a little confused. Cheers.

Won't be a track car, got my little GTi for that. Only time it'll see track is if the GTi is broken and I have a day coming up lol

Thanks for taking the time for a decent reply! I'll not be doing it for a week or two, weather permits I'll have a day on it, cars far from mint with some scratches that require paint etc but I can still try and look good. Won't be trying to get it 100% swirl free just to make it shine...

I've just ordered a machine polisher, chemical guys compounds and hex logic pads. I've also ordered some Petes 53 wax and poor boys black hole. Would I machine polish it down the finest compound and pad, then use the black hole and then the Petes 53? Cheers guys.

Cheers matey, needs rear bumper respray and exhaust moving as its melted the bumper and there's a scratch down through paint and primer from old owner but will be tip top within a few months! Defiantly coilovers mate, I can adjust them. What's people's views on the F1s? I'm getting a 50/50...

The rear boot lock on my 182 won't unlock... Earlier in the week it wouldn't lock but now I can't get into it. Any idea how I can so I can have a look at it and see why?
