It is a daily, I'd have got an R26 but tbh what I paid for my 225 is cheap, it needs say £500 to be where j want it cosmetically then I'll chase some power in it.
Nicer car to drive, comfier and bit bigger, brembos are awesome and boost is pretty nice, I've barely driven it though mate, picked...
Once I know more ill let you know mate, think we're looking towards the end off July, should be a fair few off us! Be first decent run out for my new car as well I'd imagine.
Yeah mate, I've known Ross for a few years! Haven't seen him about in a while.
I'm from Ebbw vale, but in Abergavenny...
Go here regular.
Me and @SimpleJoee have been there with both our Clio's and more recently his VTS and my GTi.
I think there's a few off us planning a run out again and over black mountains next month if you fancy it? Sounds like your local?
Also is that Ross's GTi?
I use mintex 1144 in my 106 GTi track car, seem to be brilliant, I haven't cooked them yet, but I can't compare to dc2500 unfortunately.
Seen this at fcs and it's super clean! Looked well on track too!
French car show was good yesterday,
The show its self was a bit s**t, but catching up with people was good and some track time was fun!
Anyways, I come home and made a very expensive purchase... Well I will be once I've sorted a van out to collect.
I've lined up a new engine, sandy brown big...
Just seen this on Facebook and wondered if you were the chap that's owned a few in the past on here!
Really nice looking car.
You won't regret the satchshift, one of the best things I have in mine.
So I had this sent to me earlier from @SimpleJoee
Picture of the GTi on track at llandow back in April at the RSUK day!
As some of you may have also seen in Joe's (SimpleJoee) other thread a few of us in Saxos/106's went for a drive Sunday.
Here's some pictures.
I've also just...
Yeah your making me think twice now lol
I've got 2 hours booked for French car show at Combe, then I'm booking llandow for September and Combe for is booked for November.
Going to try fit another in somewhere too
Cheers man, it's on odd wheels until I get fresh tyres fitted on weekend, will be pro race alround then!
I have heard that, but undecided but tbh I like the look lol
I might get some at some point, won't lose money on them tbh.
I'm going to get carbon rallye vents and carbon wing mirrors at some point, I love carbon and haven't got any so that will happen.
Possibly polycarb Windows as well.
Cheers buddy, was contemplating morettes and canards etc, but I think I like how standard it looks.
Cheers dude, she's come along way from that standard mess with a bodged exhaust just over a year ago!
We need more drives out with the VTS!
There are gains, not as many as if it was mapped but still noticeable and worthwhile.
I'm personally going to be going omex 600 ecu, and probably the new omex throttle bodies, so it'll all be mapped together then.
Mine is unmapped, pulls much stronger and is noticeably faster than standard, perhaps not to the full potential they could be, but it runs and drives fine, albeit s**t on fuel.
But it's pointless spending £100 to go to chipwizards, £3/400 on a map, when I'm going standalone and itbs.
I...
