Main connector on the loom in the fuse box and relay plate etc worth cleaning, depin throttle body plug and nip the terminals up a bit.
Sump off and mod oil pressure relief valve and Chuck a set of arp rod bolts on as well.
yup, looking down from the top.
windage tray is good at catching bits and stopping them dropping into the sump.
when i dropped the oil from this one pretty much nothing in it!!
mat bought the name a while ago but has just bought the business itself, although they haven't traded under the name for years they've been making exhausts still.
ideally will have something that sounds good, bee it a bit of a rasp or deep tone but not the fookin' horrible ktec drone you get...
if something has gone in and out then you won't have anything in the oil. from the damage to the head you can see in the last pic it's been a decent size whatever it was, worth looking in the front of the cat if you can be bothered but even then you'd be lucky to find anything anyway.
what's...
as mark said the pressure is a bit naff to say the least!! i always mod the oprv when i've got a sump off and check/polish the plunger as well, seen new genuine ones stick and kill an engine. doesn't help the flow of the pump but at least helps things along.
i've got a few spare sumps i'm going...
ah, light has a two pin female plug. don't recognise where it 's from but will come to me.
pretty common connector though, was it up behind the glove box? think some had a 12 socket in the back of the box so could possibly be that? don't think it was a uk market thing though?
fiver says if you bypass the module it will be fine and you'll be convinced it's a faulty module, replace it and still does the same, after a couple of days and lots of swearing you should work it out...been there done that and i'd say i know what your problem is ?
I'd steal bits of something and do it that way but even then it would cost silly money!!!!
I've looked at getting a basic independent rear trailing arm set up done and even that starts to get a bit of a silly price.
Turbo exhaust manifold will fit it fine. Run the 197 inlet. Chamber is bigger on the 197 so that will drop your cr slightly and if you use the meg gasket that drops it again. The 250 gasket is thicker than the 225 as well so you've got three gasket choices.
