i'd use the standard head over the 225 head all day long. 197 head is better though.
197 head and megane pistons or 197 head, 172 cams and 225 or 250 headgasket. you can use the megane exhaust manifold and turbo but you need to cut the neck off the turbo and turn it 90deg.

So I hear someone who does a bit with Renaults is talking to peco about a range of exhausts and decats etc for the Renault sport range. Best bit is there will be a bit of actual development going into it that will even involve rolling road figures as well.
has to be said it drove so well, genuinely doubt many in the country that were better than it, no noises, bumps, creaks, rattles etc. handled well for stock dampers and aftermarket springs, the new owner genuinely doesn't realise yet how good a car it is.
so you reckon you could develop AND build to a cracking spec AND sell it for £18,000 AND make a profit? to take an old shell and build it up as a new car would probably cost you at least that and that's not factoring in labour costs as well.
World is your lobster, depends how much you want to spend. Valves then decent set of cams and high comp Pistons and a bit of headwork will put you past 200bhp on standard inlets.
