I'm looking to uprate the speakers in the 182 (as the standard ones are shocking!), but i dont want to change my head unit as i like the OEM look.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good set of speakers that will work well with the factory fitted head unit? Budget is around...
I prefer powder coating to painting as powder coating is thicker, therefore more durable against chips etc. Depending on where you go to get them done, they will have a variety of colours, usually costing circa £40 per wheel.
Can't say I’ve ever heard of it weakening the wheels though..
I have a 182 FF and recently the radio has been playing up. It will not turn off or on with the ignition, I have to use the power button on the radio which is starting to bug me (Radio is standard)
Is there a sequence I have to do to like the auto xenon lights? If not I’ll be pulling it all...
This doesn’t always work.
Apparently it cost more for me to declare my 182 in a locked garage doing 5000 miles p/a than it does leaving it on the road and doing 15,000 miles!
Granted having your parents on the policy helps bring it down a fair bit, just need to keep looking bud.
I have never experienced a 1.6 Clio, but i have owned a MK5 Zetec s, I would defiantly recommend a Zetec s if you can get your hands on one without rust. Mine had full leather interior.. But either way you will notice a step up from a 1.2 to a 1.6!
Good luck in your search, here is a quick...
I've just got some spax rear shocks to go with my V-Maxx coilovers, changed as i wanted the rear stiffer. Have the V-Maxx shocks sitting at home if your intrested, not far away either. ;)
I've got V-Maxx on mine, it's quite low but still got a fair bit of adjustment left.
Ive gone down as far as the inner arch will let me, had to modify the bumper braket slightly though.
If you take apart your seatbelt (where the clip sits in, torx IIRC) you will should see two pins that get pushed apart when the seatbelt is connected and vise versa, may just need a clean up, or pushed back together to make the connection. Hope that helps and makes sence!!
Why don’t you go American muscle style and put the scoop facing backward. I recon it would look siiik blaaad. p.s You could photoshop it just to double check! ;)
