well after extensive searching on the net we found one that would insure him for £2200, funny thing is on the comparison sites we found prices a lot more than going to the same insurance companies directly online.

Macca at work has just got a clio 1.2 on a W reg, called me tonight to say £5000 is the cheapest quote he could get !

gasket on the car had blown from water jacket to cylinder so run up with plug out and after around 10 mins of running it was sorted, car was a little Peugeot.
