Check fuses with a multimeter, and also have a look under the passenger side footwell area to make sure uch connections are all in place ok.

Fit new oxygen sensor , fit new plugs/leads and coil. Check wiring to throttle body and wiring from ecu to. Throttle body.

Yes IMO , oxy sensor and exhaust. But much worse is the fact it will make you look a complete wanker on overrun in a Clio !!!

Just to let you know Rentech Repairs is nothing to do with me . Anyway if you was to pm the original Rentech in Portsmouth I would be coming back with a price of £450 all inclusive. I take it's a Clio Cup without AC otherwise its a fair bit more expensive.

They will get stuck in no matter what you do, and lube you put on them will burn off when hot and they have a plastic cover over them anyway which helps a bit. Done a few and a few pumps as well its a common problem.

Special tooling required to get them out only as they are tighter than my wallet ! you can use penetrating oil or cellulose thinners to soak in for a short time to help.

We can do that job on a saturday morning for you , pop it down at around 9am and I can usually get them done by 1pm ish. Saturdays bookings fill fast and as far as I know we are booking from next month?? Choice is yours Thanks for the recommendation Paul (:

Valve clearances not set correctly , possible air leak or dirty throttle valve/body

Why not check to see if the engine has the 2 camshaft caps near the throttle body changed, they have to be removed to fit the cam locking tool into place , chances are if they have been changed the belt has been as well.
