    Trophy

It's def worth a look mate. But check the paper work for the cambelt change to see who has done it and check the dampers. Open the doors and put pressure on the a-pillars (i think that is what they are called) and see if it is solid. If it bounces then the shocks need doing again. Doubtful...

    Trophy

It say's 'recent suspension overhaul at Silverstone Renault' and 'cup suspension'. If you do look, make sure you take the wheels off to check for sure it has Sachs dampers all round. They may have worded it wrong by accident.

I have a damp carpet behind the drivers seat too. Also in the boot carpet. I will have to try the methods provided.

    Front Bumper for Trophy

Hi mate i have a similar prob as you. Got quoted something like £130 to get the bumper sprayed. Need my passenger pillar sprayed also because of a wiper over throw. No where near as expensive as going down the new bumper route unless someone is breaking a Trophy.

    335i or FRS?

Ok nice one mate! OP Would you go for an MK2 FRS or?

    335i or FRS?

I really fancy a 335i also as my next car and am not entirely sure how the warranty works. If Chris_P bought one on say a 57 plate with 60,000m, would extended warranty cover up to 100,000m?

    335i or FRS?

Would be the 335i for me! They can be had for around the 10-12k mark with decent mileage, but the HPFP issues put me off. I remember someone had one not so long ago (may still have) on here and it spent more time in the garage than out. Awesome cars though if you avoid such issues. Are these...

HOW MUCH DO THE GENUINE SACHS STICKERS GO FOR?

Unless you have a real good look its not easily noticeable but do to see a mark of a genuine damper. F*** knows how you can replicate what is more or less a racing damper though?lol. So in that respect I don't really see a problem losing or eroding stickers. I do appreciate that people like...

HOW MUCH DO THE GENUINE SACHS STICKERS GO FOR?

The only problem is that they have the hologram, which I assume if not easily replicated? If someone is clued up and views his car when time to sell and they see this, they will walk away. I would be interested to see a replica though given the circumstances on these bloody things.

HOW MUCH DO THE GENUINE SACHS STICKERS GO FOR?

Hi mate, you are going to struggle as renault took a year iirc with a member on here and cliotrophy (MarcR?) and they gave in after a very good case put forward by him. They have said on the letter that it won't happen again. The best bet would be to contact Sachs direct but it is like p******...

    The Chris Harris thread

I don't know if this has been posted before but his reactions to the car are very rarely seen! It shows how mad the thing is! Don't know if it put on a bit by him but I doubt it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_cRqcbXAs4

    Pikeys + RS5 =

Properly suspicious isn't it! Just leave your 60k+ motor in the ass end of nowhere for a week or so. Yeah right!
  29. 1

    Pikeys + RS5 =

This doesn't add up. Why not turn around and go back the way you came? Ok, if you couldn't as the engine cut out then why no recovery vehicle to tow it to safety then ship it off to the garage?
