"It's a silly idea, but it seems to work". No Mr announcer, it is an epic idea! "He can always go on to bigger and better things". Yep, 50Obhp but keeping the same car!
Well done fella, awesome!
What is even sadder is that the UK is full of Muppet's like these. People pulling dangerous stunts to make a name for themselves and facebook points. Why?
I was told that there was 2 gallons left over after the light comes on. The most i have done is 40miles on the light because I had to and i was expecting to run out. I fill up from the light and it is 42l. So seems correct. I work out mpg from 9g and in fAirness to the trip. Comp it is almost...
My locking system would go mad by locking and unlocking all of the time whilst driving. Water had damaged the mechanism in the drivers door. Changing helped a lot but the problem still persisted. I removed the dash locking switch and put it back. Job done. Been fine since. Have a quick check but...

Looks superb Andy! All the best for the mapping! Hopefully you may be up for a little blast later on in the summer!

I am 25 and get the 'chav car, too old for that, buy something more mature'. I couldn't give a toss what people think. These are usually comments from people with either a boring as f**k car or someone with no interest in cars. Bizarre.
I tried pirelli p zero nero gt's and was very impressed with them. The back ones lasted ages. Good grip and usually in a deal whenever i have gone for tyres. Granted they aren't as good as the michelins i have now but not far off imo.
Phone up Renault UK and demand a new catch as it is dangerous. Also that you have friends that have had theirs done as part of a recall and that you have the same car and are being treated very unfairly. Should work.
Get some WD40 in there mate. All around the whole mechanism. Whilst doing the spraying make sure you open and close the latch a good few times to get it all in. If that works then great, but you will more than likely need a new mechanism fitted. I had mine done for free from Renault as they sent...
