The engines do that in the 1*2. I don't know if it is the same for the twingo engine but it likely is. Someone in the know will let you know soon. How noticeable is it?
Either Prospeed (as mentioned above), Charlie does some good work down there (imo) or gotboost in Bridgend. I think gotboost have some exhaust experience. Guy was having his RS3 decatted last time I was there and it sounded awesome! The way it echoed off the buildings made my shiver!lol.
If you are going around tighter bends you can just about notice the difference. Where they stand out though is when going along uneven/worn surfaces. There is much more control. They also help reduce understeer, however not massively I will agree. I think Renaultsport got it spot on with the...
I just changed my policy as my address has changed and my job role. Gone up a fair bit. Gutted. My best mates sister is in the same boat as she has had to go with a black box or she doesn't have a car. 4K without one about 1.5k with. They got all young drivers by the balls. You have to be home...
That obviously doesn't sound right. He needs to get a renewal quote off of his current insurance and if it is 400 like you said then ask for a full explanation why. Sounds mental that. Insurance companies are a joke.
The black box in theory is supposed to bring premiums down. Has he had any warnings off of his insurance for his driving style or? How much has it gone up by?
Decatted Orbisound exhausts are pretty loud. My mates type r was also loud a hell, proper chav exhaust, i loved it!lol. Why do you wan't a proper anti-social exhaust though?
That wont be a good move on his part. Don't get me wrong I don't know the bloke but that sounds like a classic "if I can afford to buy the car I have the skills to drive it!" kind of thing. I agree with you, won't take long that!
Mine sounds fine too then. Someone once described their kick as quite violent and I thought mine must be broken then. I need a local owner to take me for a spin but I don't know any. See loads about though! None on here don't think.
How does yours feel mate as I did a thread about this before as I too was concerned. Mine just increases acceleration, which is noticeable, but is not that different feeling wise.
Mine is like this mate and i know the timing is spot on. Could be the type of exhaust you have got. Some smooth it out a bit as-well as a map. Some people say their kick is very noticeable. Mine is not as much but does seem to pull well. In regards to being put back in your seat; they do when...
How much power are you running and can you actually put it down well? There is a video of a 300+ clio on youtube, despite being very quick, not gtr quick though. Different league.
