Now you mention it, I was just out and removed the N/S engine mount and the bolt was broken on that. I'll whip off the battery once it stops raining and have a look around teh gearbox mount.
I hope it's that as it's an easier fix!
Cheers man.
I went over a slight jump yesterday, not enough to get the wheels off the ground but I heard the rev’s lift as I went over it. Afterwards I’ve had a horrendous knocking noise.
It knocks when you go on or off throttle, constantly knocks loudly at 50mph under power but if you let off the throttle...
From what I remember reading you need to buy the u lock code for the car the rstuner was originally bought for (182 in your case) and then just pay for the meg250 map.
Logitech for me. I love my G Pro mechanical keyboard. I'm a 31 year old though, and didn't want something with flashing lights and all that guff. IMO a Ducky or HHKB would be a bit overkill for your son. They're enthusiast level boards.
Regarding mice, it's usually down to sensor preference and...
Rattle can paint has came a long way. Plastikote plastic primer or direct to plastic paint is pretty decent. I painted the plastics on my old motorbike project and they turned out great.
Make sure and degrease and panel wipe them loads before spraying tho.
Think I’m just going to bite the bullet and paint mine with bumper paint. If prep’d correctly it should last.
Mines went like a dark blue and I don’t think it’s supposed to be lol
Awesome. A little inspiration, my Iceberg looks a bit neglected but this can be my new goal. It's almost perfect in my eyes (wheels would be a lighter shade for me)
Cracking job man.
I've an annoying squeak coming from around the n/s front wheel or it may be pulley related. It happens at idle sometimes, and i can hear it when I go over rough surfaces. It doesn't get faster/slower with rev's.
I've tried spraying the bushes, ball joints and anything else around there with...
I always used steelseries or Bayerdynamics. Now I've a set of HyperX Cloud 2's and they're pretty much perfect, I use them more than the Bayer's now. They aren't wireless but I'd have no worries about trusting a set of wireless HyperX cans.
Mines a feb 2002 ph2 172. Has nothing as far as I'm aware.
The previous owner replaced the old panel with a bit of carbon with a couple of toggle switches on it. I wanted to replace this as it looked dire. When I removed the panel there was two large white plugs and two smaller black ones. All...
Great stuff man, I had a look last time you mentioned but didn't actually know what I was looking for. I'll grab a look later.
I can confirm that plugging the white plug into the ESP switch doesn't do anything on an early 2002 172 that wasn't spec'd with ESP from factory. I bought the panel and...
P-Zero GT's on my mrs's polo gti (230bhp) are pretty bad. They wouldn't be what I'd class as a comfortable tyre either. I've PS3's on the front and Rainsport 3 XL's (Extra load, stiffer sidewalls) on the rear of the 172. I need to swap them soon so it'll be interesting to see the difference...
BenQ/Zowie are the dog's danglies. He'll be super chuffed, especially if he's in to watching Esports. I wasn't aware that currys even stocked Zowie gear, I'll have to get down for a nosey.

That Boostedboiz channel would tend to disagree. They have chinese turbos on all their cars. One has been on 700+bhp civic for over 3 years, about 300 1/4's and hours on the dyno and still had no shaft play. He spends a good bit of his...
Swapping the ECU won't give you much if any increase. There was a different manifold and other items on the 182. Also, 182's never RR'd at 182BHP, 170ish was the average I think, they just had a little more mid range torque due to the manifold design.
I'm sure someone with a little more...
That actually makes you a viable option for repairs, lol. I'm struggling to find someone with RS knowledge over here.
Rik220, make sure you let us know how you get sorted out. I've been looking at a few non-runners in England and getting them home has been a hurdle. I never thought about...
Ah. It was just the fact that one of the white plugs fitted into the ESP switch and the other ones didn't that got me wondering. There's 4 plugs in there, two white ones and two smaller black ones. I know naff all about electrics though. Cheers for clearing it up.
The wires and plugs are there for the cruise and the ESP. Not that I really need ESP, it would just be nice to have the button working. I'll try and pick up a panel with just the dash light dimmer switch.
