Is the volume turned down on your phone? I notice if I have the volume at anything other than max on my phone and the HU turned up, I'll get a little static.
Yeah, I've had loads of 106's and they have the same sort of rubber bumper thing.
I had the battery out and all the bolts were tight and the hanger thats attached to the inner wing didn't have any broken mounting holes. I didn't take the mount entirely off though as it looked like a bit of a...
I'll give that a go tonight. It seems to be mostly slapping forward when I lift off throttle.
I've an annoying squeak that I was hoping may have been related to the broken mount but alas, the noise is still there.
I've always had a good bit of engine slap, I fired a powerflex dogbone mount on and it didn't change much so I bought the engine mount insert.
When I went to fit the insert into the cambelt side engine mount I noticed the bolt that runs down the middle had snapped. I thought this would be the...
You can get hub spacers for the rear, much better than the regular spacers. I got mine in a group buy on here but haven't fitted them yet. PMS sell them too.
I've a new(ish) oversized K&N (white edition) filter here. Fits behind the light and in front of the bumper perfectly. IMO it sounded better than the RAMAIR filter I had on my Fatty before hand.
Cost me £48, I'd take £25 delivered for it (Cheaper than the RAMAIR) it's only been used for 200...
Also, I dilute my snowfoam at 80/1 with very hot (not boiling) water. As the bottle recommends. I tried stronger dilutions and the results stayed the same.
Cleantec.biz
Local company (n.ireland) and have great prices and really good lances. The guy that runs it is super helpful too if you ever have any questions.
Think my lance was £20
Then I use https://anachem-automotive.com/ products to clean it.
Everything I’ve used from there has been...
Also check the wires going to the fuel pump under the rear seat. Mine had symilar symptoms to yours and one of the wires had worn away and was making a bad connection.
Fap fap fap.
I’ve literally been waiting for this for years.
How populated the streets are is pretty insane, it will be fun to see what impact that has on my cpu/gpu.
Wow. That’s a fair difference! I’ve a netgear nighthawk n6 wireless router so the wifi isn’t bad. You’ll notice a fair difference now.
Go to curry’s or Argos and get some homeplugs. They plug into wall sockets and allow you to use the electrical connection in your house as a LAN cable. (Trying...
It will be the fact that the 1080p image is stretched over 40+ inches compared to it being compressed on to a smaller monitor. So you're seeing things enlarged but the quality won't be as crisp.
Like watching a low quality video on your Phone vs the TV.
For consoles, a TV is ample as the...
LAN always, or at least Powerline/Home plug adapters.
CAT5E is ample, CAT6 if you're hard-wiring it into your house (price isn't much different these days tbh, but you won't notice a difference in bandwidth speeds but it'll mean you won't need to upgrade it in future).
They probably don't tbh, I just found that it gave a deeper colour and probably offers some sort or protection. Plus I had the bottle sitting with-in arms reach.
I made this guide up off the top of my head, just tried some s**t and it worked. There's no science to it lol.
The products I use on my car are all Anachem Automotive stuff. It’s a local company and developed along side one of the best detailers in the country. It’s great stuff and cheap compared to other brands.

Their ‘purge’ wheel cleaner is the best I’ve used. My...
I tried a tar remover that’s supposed to be a chemically stronger concentrate of tar remover compared to autoglym on my rear wiper plastic and it started to go funny again within a week or two.
If you do a search, all 1*2's do it when they're cold. It's a cold map and it limits the rpm to 5k or something. I thought it was broken at first but I've just learned to live with it.
(First link that came up on google - https://www.cliosport.net/threads/182-stuttering-from-cold.58946/ )
Mine's exactly the same. I've only driven two 172's but both of them did it on cold start. The engine runs on a different map (or something) for 2 minutes after you start the engine. After that, it's smooth as.
If you remap it, or load the RStuner map it supposedly gets rid of the stutter.
Excellent job man, good to see another one over here. I may have to give you a shout when I need my dephaser/belts done as I don't know anyone else over here with the timing kit (well, a legit one anyway).
